Caught a half of Soddy-Daisy at East Ridge playday. They are big and seem fairly fundamentally sound. Haven't seen Bledsoe however.

why don't you compare matt polk with Brian Marshall, Dwayne Caldwell or the kid from Farragut last year that won? I think 750 yards in last 3 games against best competion of the year is pretty good.

Really seems like the same think DB is the team to beat and after they play a real team they are gone. Let them play Farragut or any other 5a team. Looks like a 1 and out again for DB. How long can you live on rep playing up in who's brother/daddy Tennessee. Just hopefully they are voting for McCain.

Well, I don't have an opinion but I hear Flanders is a great athlete. Brady Reed is a great athlete from what I hear. But, I just have to wonder what would have been if Jeremy Wood had been the QB as a Junior, instead of a free safety. Maybe we should look more that one year at a time.

Wow biggest game in Region 2 this week and possibly all year and WB couldn't get anyone to cover it for the Internet?

This sophmore is definately worth the trip you will see why when you see him tonight. He's a great athlete and already looks like he could play at UT. But my guess would be looking at Marshall as well.

Trust me the school will be build they just started pouring footers last week and we will be starting the underground next week. The long delay has been in finishing up drawings to reduce the cost as the job was very much over budget. You will start seeing some progress on the school over the next couple of weeks and it will open on time.

School board is currently reviewing drawings after school was overbudget and value-engineered. School should start construction any day now and be completed for the opening of the 2009 school year. Hope this is what you were asking?

Well at the start of the school year last year Ooltewah had 2021 kids registered and I assumed that number would be higher this week. Most of the websites I have seen list Ooltewah between 1700-1900 kids but that number is a little low. Either way there are more than enough kids to draw from and plenty of underclassmen to replace the graduating seniors every year.

Ooltewah does have 2100 kids to choose from so not hard to find 11 more when the freshman team and jv both went undefeated last year. Toughest thing to replace will be Jeremy Woods at QB. imho.

One Point guard can stop McNeil off the dribble that I have seen in last 2 years that's Brian Marshall, he is only one quick enough to totally disrupt what McNeil does. Unfortunately the coaches rarely play him even though he's the best defender on the team.

He will not outrun them all I'm quite sure DT MT Sanders, Caldwell and prolly 4-5 others on defense are faster than your QB and 3 of those 4 are linemen/lb's. Owls QB is best I have seen in a long time he is a Senior first year starter as his big brother started last 3 years.
