I have to completly agree, twitty. He was successful very year at the 2A classification. He is now in 3A with a 6-1 record with one of the best defenses I have seen in a while. He is a great coach, and a great christian man. He cares about your christian life more than the football team.

If you saw the difference in size between David Lipcsomb and BA you would understand why they do not play each other. Take it Lipscomb is a great football program,, they do welll because the coaches coach them so well. They are a very discplined team. BA also has a lot more resources than Lipscomb does. I am just saying this if you put Lipscomb with some of the other coaching staffs that you would find at some public schools they would not be as good by far( no disrespect to public school coaching staffs bc there are some good ones).

I am going to say that Austin Roger's little brother out of David Lipscomb is one of the best in the mid state. he runs a 4.6 or 4.7 40. He is already fater than his brother was at his age and now Austin is at UT running a 4.3 or maybe even better than that.

I am going to pick Nashcille Christian. they are under a new coach this year and he has them off to a good start. I look to see them win 2 in a row

I am a david Lipscomb alumnist and I look forward to seeing how well they handle 3 a and the scandal of losing their 2 year fb/rb and there starting right guard

I am going to give you advice and should listen. I just graduated from Lipscomb, and I talked alot of smack saying that Alcoa doesnt have a chance to beat us and all this junk. Theyy put it to us on the field last year. I think if we would have played them again we might have had a chance to beat them. They will be very good this year. I do not think there is a team on their schedule thatwill stop them. Maryville could stop them, but I dont think they will. They were very good last year and they will be even better this year. You better concentrate more on getting there and preapring then trying to talk a lot of trash.

I will have to say, coming from a non alcoa fan, that they will probably be unstoppable this year. Their defense can do nothing but get better, and their offense will still be great because of Dustin Lindsey. I see a undefeated season for Alcoa, as much as I hate to say it. I really truly hate saying it but they will be great.

Well I think u r probably right that the east teams will be good, but they will have to deal with David Lipscomb. They will be a hard nose running team this year with a lot of strength on that team. Their o line is returning all but one starter. They have a three year starting running back named Jaimie Wilkerson, he is a great player and they have another starting running back in Matt Elrod, the brother of 3 yaer starting qb Burton Elrod who just graduated. They will be pretty decent this year. Dont know if they have enoug to compete with Fulton or AE.

look we played westmoreland last year and the one thing that Smith Co has that westmoreland doesnt is tough football. these are country goys we r talking about

I do not like Alcoa one bit, but the fact is that they will win the state championship once again. They will be one of the best teams in the state period. After this year there will be a lot of payback howed towards Alcoa. But for now Alcoa gets my vote. The only thing that will make or break the team is DUSTIN LINDSEY.

You have no idea how much this Lipscomb team has changed since that Greenbriar game. New center, new nose guard, line backer that is just for starters. I hope all the Alcoa people keep talking smack because we lipscomb players are listning and can not wait to be on the field

wel everybody all year long has been saying that Lipscomb does not have a chance. They said we would not win region. We did easily. They said we would not beat Goodpasture for a second time, we did easliy. Now nobody thinks we can beat Alcoa. Lipscomb has been winning because everybody says that we can't. I can not wait to prove everybody wrong once again
