final score Perry County 23 Trinity Christian 7 This game was plauged by turnovers by both ball teams. Perry County also amased almost 100 yards in penalties. Perry County had 2 offensive touchdowns, 1 punt return for a TD, and a field goal. Trinity scored a touchdown in the 4th quarter on a nice drive. This game was much closer than the final score indicated. TCA had 2 turnovers deep in Perry County territory. I believe Trinity had either 5 or 6 turnovers in the game that just killed the chances they had.

pcgod, How many of those yards did he get against the USJ varsity and how many of those yards did he get against the USJ vj team after the game was decided? By the way, I have no affiliation with JCS or USJ.

pcgod, I can possibly see Perry County or TCA finishing as the #3 seed. But, to say that Perry County will finish as the #2 seed in 7-1A, that is not happening! IMO, JCS will also lay the smackdown on Perry County!

I have seen Lake County play this season. They would more than likely finish last, or next to last, in 7-1A. I predict that when the playoffs start, region 7-1A will go 3 and 1 against region 8-1A in the first round of the playoffs. Here are my predicted seeds for 7-1A and 8-1A Region 7-1A 1-USJ, 2-JCS, 3-Fayette Acad., 4-TCA Region 8-1A 1-West Carroll, 2- South Fulton, 3- Bruceton, 4-Greenfield

Liberty is 0-3. They should be 2-1, but they had heart breaking losses to Northside and Humboldt. I think that they are much better than their record indicates. The wins will come for this second year program!

This game WILL decide who will be the 4th seed in region 7-1A. The winner will earn the right to play either West Carroll or South <a href='http://www.coacht.com/inside/team.cfm?SchoolID=159&SportID=1' target='_blank'>Fulton</a> in the first round of the playoffs. Perry County is improved and TCA is young. However, with the game being played at TCA, and with TCA having 2 weeks to prepare, I will go with TCA in this one.

This game won't be close. Huntingdon wins going away!

This was a much better game than I expected. I firmly believe that if it were not for that face mask penalty, Liberty would of earned a huge upset win. It was definately one of, if not, the best game of the night in West Tennessee. There was lots of leather popping by both teams in this game. Humboldt has some nice athletes and a good team. Liberty is a team that all others must now take very seriously. While Liberty may be 0-3, they are a much better team than that. I hope that the Liberty players and staff do not loose faith. Good things are coming your way!

Here is an idea. Cut the salaries of the school board members and cut out alot of the fat in the administration that is existant in all school systems.

If it was The Jackson Sun I would not be overly surprised as they don't have a clue!

I wish that the polls would be done away with altogether. But, if you must have them, I think that the coaches should do the polling. They would make much more informed choices than the newspaper people do in the AP poll. Get one coach from each class in each region to participate. This weeks AP poll only had 10 representatives voting if I counted correct. All were newspapers and no radio stations participated. And who was the knot head newspaper guy who gave Humboldt a first place vote in 2A? Geez, that should tell you that these newspaper people don't have a clue! JMO

If they have been on TV, they sure were not broadcast on a station in the Madison County area.

Westtn, I agree that Milan had made many mistakes in the first two games this season. However, those same mistakes will defeat Milan IF they were to make them against a really quality opponant. The two teams that Milan has played are not of the calibar of a JCM. You would have to admit that if Milan were to make those same mistakes against a team like JCM, Milan would not be as fortunate as they have been the last two weeks. Personally, I think that the Jackson Sun poll is just junk. I also think the same thing about the state wide AP polls when they start coming out.

While Liberty is vastly improved over last season, I look for Humboldt to win this game. Liberty did play Crocket County alot tougher than I expected. The first Crocket County TD was set up by a gift (the officials missed a blatent holding call) on a long run prior to their first TD. Once Liberty settled down after the first quarter, they played Crocket County really tough. It is not out of the relm of possibility for Liberty to sneak into the playoffs this season as a 4 seed.

Huntingdon wins this one easily! Lexington is over rated!

JCM should be ranked ahead of Milan in The Jackson Sun poll in my opinion. Milan has struggled in both of their games, and should of lost, or at least gone to overtime with the team they played Friday night. To date, JCM has played a better schedule and has won in a much more impressive fashion than Milan.
