football time

I haven't seen my Silverdale boys play yet, but they will be tough. I think we played Grace yesterday. Anybody know how Grace did against us?

The field is a softball and baseball field and they use it for football. That doesn't help Grace's argument that their field is good, but it is the facts. If you have played their then you know that it is not a football field.

We will see whose posting privileges should be revoked. The only thing I might be wrong about is how bad We beat Temple and then Grace.

I am not bad mouthing DB. I know where they are coming from. They are 15-12, but who did they play and beat that gives you the right to say they will be one of the better teams in the region. Until they beat or get within 10 points of Grace, Temple, CSAS, and Silverdale then they are not one of the better teams.

My picks are Silverdale by 4 over Temple and Grace by 1 over CSAS. Then Silverdale will win the championship by 2.

Do not put David Brainerd up here with good teams.

Do not overlook my Seahawks. We are ready to represent Chatty. We are playing well even with people banged up. I am not saying we will end their Cinderella run, but don't be surprised if we do it.

I am not trying to be mean, but besides Copper Basin(which seldom wins) did they beat anybody else in the district? Until they beat somebody else then there is no reason to give a false sense reality. DB is not good yet. With all the competition around them, I will be surprised it will be anytime soon either.

You might be right about CSAS, but when you dominate a team it is hard sometimes to play with a lot of intensity.

Your observations are based on the short time you actually saw Grace's starters play which wasn't very long. Not to mention when you are doing whatever you want to score you don't really see a team use what they normally use on off. and def.

Is Silverdale looking for a coach? Someone told me that Coach Allen was going back to North GA. I hope this is not true.

You are wrong if you think #1 that Grace thinks they are superior to you as you say, but #2 you also wrong if you think Grace is afraid to play you in the playoffs. You guys provide a great game and make Grace work really hard, but they are not afraid to play again.

Read my post that you quoted and you will first see that I did not put the score therefore could not get the score incorrect. I made a hypothetical statement just like you did. What if.... Second, there is nothing that I said to make one believe we blew you away so quit reading into what you want to hear. All that was said is that you could not stop Grace from making big plays. I know that Grace's coach said that but read the quote , he didn't think he would ever stop you, which means that they did eventually stop you thus they won the game. If Josh Blake did not play QB who would win the game? I don't know because he did? Would we be at war if George Bush wasn't president? I don't know because he is the president. We can spend a lot of wasted time thinking about all the scenarios, but the bottom line is that Grace beat a good Silverdale team but you are like most fans/parents with glasses bent towards your team. I am neither a fan nor a parent so I can se things objectively. Silverdale is a good team no question. I just got tired of hearing you give excuses as to why you lost to Grace. I realize you hate a few people at Grace and eaglemaniac make you think he represents Grace, but the way you make general statements about Grace is crazy.

Quit making excuses for losing to Grace. They played without three starters and they are not on here saying how they should have beat you by 30 or more if they would have played. Yes Silverdale had tons of rushing yards refer back to Grace was without 3 starters. Even with an injured QB you still could not stop Grace. Part of playing football is not giving up big plays and they could not keep Grace from doing that. So they lost, Quit making excuses. Yes Grace was beat by Boyd 37-7. No excuses! SP hasn't whiped Grace because they haven't played yet. If it happens there will be no excuses. Injuries are part of football so except that and that Silverdale got beat by Grace because Grace is the better team because they can make the big plays.

Dan knew about it. Dan also knew about all the other shady things they were doing, that is why they got busted. He wasn't there to cover it up. If he was there none of this would have been uncovered because he knew how to hide it better than anybody. That is the truth even though I know Temple people will deny it. Yes he is a good Christian man so I am not attacking him, but too many people have seen how things work at Temple to not know he knew it was going on.

Yes put all the privates together so they can pillage all the public schools in the area of there good players. So they can start giving financial aid to those athletes who happen to be in need. That makes a lot of sense. Instead of worrying about Baylor and McCallie, let us make it where we have to worry about all the privates giving money out. I know this is getting in to public/private debate, but maybe what you wish for is not really what we want. SD head coach with money to lure his "transfers" with? I don't want that neither should you.

Unless I am looking at the wrong thread, there are not many actual Silverdale or Grace people saying anything. So that was not a good observation of either school. I guess everybody on here who says that Silverdale's coach recruits is scared they are going to lose to Silverdale. I guess South Pitt is scaredddddd!! If Grace doesn't win this game it is because Grace didn't play as well as Silverdale did that night. I am sure they will not use recruiting as an excuse. As far as it being a bad rumor. It may just be a rumor that he recruits, but as many people as there are who say the same thing about him, you would think it was the Gospel. I hope he is innocent, it just seems strange that he has gotten in trouble before for it, and 5-7 kids show up shortly after he visits local schools. hmmm!!! But i guess it could just be all rumors and everybody who has a "recruiter" (JA) story just made it up. Looking forward to the game. Two good schools who as you said must play the game on the field. The team who plays better that night will walk away with there first region win of the night. Good luck.

I have not posted in a long time, but this thread interests me. I am glad to know that Silverdale just has to show up and they have this game won. If I recall last year that was the same thing that was being said. It should be interesting, but do not put much weight into the fact that one player scored 4 td's. It could have been any one of several people who could have scored he just happened to be the one to get the TD's. There was still two others who scored, and the running back who led the game in rushing didn't score. So don't fool yourselves to think that Grace is terrible and that the "recruiter" is going to just walk on the field and Grace is going hand him the game. The game is played on the field and until Silverdale beats Grace then there is no reason to think that Silverdale can beat Grace. I hate that their coach had to recruit players, but he will eventually get busted for doing it. Sorry, I didn't mean to say recruits, I meant transfers, since normally teams get so many in one year.

Are all these new players coming because all the the high school has to offer or the free college tuition. There has to be something illegal with that.

Can Grace repeat? Temple looks good and I know Silverdale plays Grace tough. Copper Basin is good this year.

I am sure he is good, but he is not going to Silverdale.

I do not know Rob only the things I have read that he says, but you are talking way to much for you not to be Rob like everyone seems to think. I don't know if you are the same person or not, but if you care about Temple you would shut up and quit making things harder on those who are left.

What does the way Pasture does things mean? Are you talking about Pastor Skogen?

I have been writing on here for some time and it is very common for the thread to get off topic. How does one get the power to now just shut it down when a topic changes a little or for a short time? I am not being disrespectful, but it seems strange when this topic was no where near as bad as some I have seen.

Sorry you think that. I was being serious. I think it is funny you singled me out considering how many people on here cut each other down and act very unkindly towards others much like children and I try to show concern and I am a child. It dosn't make sense, but that is how you feel sorry.
