  1. It's going to be hard for Blackman to replace their leading scorer from last season, David Barnes.
  2. Siegel will be one of the 8 teams that make it to the State Tourney. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. Yea there will be 36 teams at the Franklin County play day. It should be interesting.
  4. This should be a really good play day with some of the top players in TN being there.
  5. Yea I watched Cutter play at the Nike Memorial Day Classic at Ensworth, but that was earlier in the summer, and he had about 15 the game I saw and he was playing against some of the best high school players in the nation. Cutter is obviously pretty good bc he had about 8 Mid Majors offer him, I believe, before he committed to Indiana State. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  6. Jordan Damron(Maryville) can shoot pretty well.
  7. Kevin Giltner(Harpeth), Tyler Cutter(Siegel), Alex Carter(Blackman), John Jenkins(Station Camp)
  8. This is not Coach Froedden and you sound like Jake Williams getting on here and posting about yourself. Sycamore had lots of leadership there last year, but when they played Liberty Tech deep in the tournament, a team with lots of talent, they got beat by 20 or so. Leadership can only get you so far because you got to have talent to win games.
  9. Cheatham will not finish in the top four in the district and Jake Williams is not good at all.
  10. Exactly catuballer, White Co. had a way better team the Siegel did last year and Cutter still put up about 25 on them. Siegel will be the team to beat in this district. Cutter, an Indiana State committment, and comapny will be hard to beat here in about a month or two. I would like to see the Stars back in the State Tournament come March.
  11. Harpeth will be one of the 8 there.
  12. 1. Harpeth 2. Station Camp 3. CPA 4. White House. 5. Livingston Academy
  13. Tyler Cutter(Siegel) , Kevin Giltner(Harpeth), Elliot Williams(St. George), Phillip Jurick(East Ridge), Laurence Bowers(St. George).
  14. I'm taking Harpeth to win the district. I expect Giltner and co. to take care of business and get to the Boro. Harpeth is extremely talented this year and they also have experience. Harpeth is also one of my preseason picks for the State tourney come March also. I expect Sycamore to finsh second. Sycamore has some talent, but they have no leadership and they don't have that much experience either. I hate to bash on my War Eagles, but sorry. The rest is as follows-Creekwood, Fairview, Cheatham County, Waverly, Montgomery Central, and Stewart County.
  15. I'm taking Siegel to win the district. I expect Cutter, an Indiana State committment, to lead the Stars back to the State Tourney come March also. Cutter will be dishing dimes and knocking down his three pointers as usual, at least I hope so. They have a long way to go though because they are still kind of young. Gooch is one of the best athletes in 7AAA, if not the best, and it will be interesting to see how much he has improved since last year. Also, look out for Cookeville transfer Levon Tate. He was the Upper Cumberland freshman of the year last year and he's improving rapidly too.
  16. The Firebirds of Pearl-Cohn travel to Sycamore to take on the War Eagles this coming Friday night for homecoming in a crucial 4-3A battle. The Firebirds return Sr. QB/DB Deaunte Mason from their Semifinal team a year ago. I know the War Eagles are seeking revenge after the Firebirds put the out in the 3A State Quarterfinals last year. On the offensive side of the ball for the War Eagles, QB Jake Simms and RB Cory Carrigan will lead the attatck. I am expecting a big game from Brentwood Academy transfer Tyler Cherry. The 6'5 Junior WR/FS needs to step it up big time after he has been in a 2 game slump. If the War Eagles are going to pass the ball, the O-line needs to give Simms enough time to find his receivers. PC's line and Cheatham's line are a whole different world. On the definsive side of the ball, the War Eagles secondary better be prepared or Deaunte Mason will have fun picking apart Sycamore's secondary. Well I'm sticking with my War Eagles 24-21.
