Your right two home wins against page and marshall county is pretty impressive. haha Kelly is a good post player who is almost automatic in the paint. Thompson is good but depends on the night. Good thing is he provides height which is always good. As for the perimeter players McLemore seems to be the only threat outside arc. For CHS to win they must play defense, at hillsboro their defense was horrible and let hillsboro out hustle them almost all night. They must minimize turnovers and take care of the ball. Making the easy basket will be key along with staying out of foul trouble because their bench is not nearly as strong as FHS FHS keeps getting better every game playing much tougher opponents. FHS provides a couple big and physical post players. Outside the arc they provide a quick three point threat. FHS also is a much better defensive team who is quick to the ball and will pressure you. For FHS to win they must pressure the ball. CHS does not handle the double team trap and pressure well and can force many turnovers. With that they must convert turnovers into points. Franklin must also control the paint and force CHS to play out on the perimeter. Once Kelly gets the ball on the blocks it is an easy two points from there. My pick: Franklin

From an earlier post Nowell wont ever come to chs, he goes no where without johnson and i dont see him going to chs. Also I think your principal has the final say on who gets the coaching job, so he might have a little say in it, just a little. Also doubt chs jv team killed franklin. I wish you would post some quality info on here.

yes todd has the ability to be a dangerous returner but he only returned kicks on a few occassions and if I am not mistaken none were for touchdowns or even huge gains. You should of nominated someone who made a difference returning the football. However, o-line award should go to somebody off the ravenwood line.

Why would you put todd campbell as special teams player when he did not even really play on special teams? And you really think Scotty Hazzard was the best off. lineman?

Hit, your a funny guy, sometimes you hear bizzare things and I was just wondering if there was truth behind it. ( kind of like the ravenwood incident earlier) excuse me for taking up space.

Today I heard that Indys QB stole a cheeseburger in the school cafeteria and was caught and got benched for fridays game against DC. Not trying to joke around or stir things up, I heard this from a credible source and was wondering if anyone out there can back me up on this. Some might think im crazy for bringing this up but seriously heard it and was wondering if it was true.

Would not call it a whipping. Just a scrimmage, Franklin played alot of different players and rested alot to get ready for week zero.

Actually he may be right, I have also heard that ravenwood was out in shoulder pads and helmets. Its a little buzz going around in williamson county that may be true.

I dont know if Franklin has the most returning on offense, to be honest the may only be returning 3-4 offensive starters from last years team. It is going to be an interesting year to see how the the top three teams in the region do on offense. I wouldnt be to quick on saying brentwood will have the best defense in the region. Franklin is returning a lot of underclassmen as is Ravenwood and Indy. Yes brentwoods D will be good, but not as good as some might think.

As the man said above me, you go pass the test to be a ref and start calling games and see if you can control them. Until then dont talk about the refs.

Actually Franklin doesnt need a new coach. Their coach is actually one of the best in the state and probably one of the few thats in the collegiate hall of fame. He is very knowledgeable about the game of soccer, so that wasnt a very good comment. Its hard to say Franklin has been going downhill the past couple of years when the were seeded #3 in the tourny and may have not always been at the top but sure has been near it or always in the middle of things. Franklin did get off to a rocky start this season but really improved and stepped it up near the end. Last night against ravenwood they played a good 70 mins, just feel apart near the end. They had talented players and have some returning next year. Hopefully next year they can step it up a level.

MBA is not in Willaimson County, but yes Stephen should definatly make it. Great player!

Even if the ball is deflected off the opposing team and ends up to an offensive player in an offsides position. The reason the ref said he didnt call offside was because he said franklin had possesion of the ball for a slight moment. So it was a judgement call and you just have to go with it. Franklin did play an outstanding game. They are only getting better.

Great game Franklin! This was a fun one to watch. Franklin finally came out and showed their potential and played a very good game. One everyone has been waiting for haha. Coach parker has been switching up the line- up every game and this one tonight seemed to click and work very well. Franklin is a good team and hopefully this wasnt a one-time deal. Keep up guys and yall can do some damage late in the season, it is not to late!

You must be a superstar!! Well I play high school soccer and also ref on the side. Maybe you should try it so you can have the perspective of both sides on the field and see what it is like. until you have expierenced that pipe it down a little. You do not know everything!

There are not many refs in tennessee to begin with. Maybe you guys should bewcome refs. If not guess you will have to make due with what you have.

your right they did, but some of them were provoked by the father ryan player. In all honesty that game was a little shaking all around with the calls and the plays.

Just saw father ryan play franklin tonight. Good game i guess, father ryan ended up winning 2-1 scoring their second goal with about a minute left in the game. They are a good team with good speed. Also proud of my franklin boys for hanging with them and playing hard but it just didnt go as planned for them. on a down note Franklin fans lost all respect for the forward on father ryan who wore the #3. He played with zero class and zero sportmanship and showed no respect to the people around him. He played the game of soccer like and idiot and a jerk. It seemed his main goal was to be an annoyance on the field and to see how much attention he could get. Now you irish fans can say what you want and get mad if you choose at me for calling out a player and talking about them in this manner but the truth hurts and this is the truth and like i said we have no respect for such a player as him.
