  1. Congrats to Unicoi County...State AA Champions! Stepping on that field as a "team" shows that anything can happen. Again, congrats from West Tennessee.
  2. Yes, very proud of these girls. They haven't play very many games before this weekend due to the weather. These girls stepped up and did their jobs. Again, proud of the Lady Lions!
  3. Just saw the weekend forcast....calling for rain again, but I pray for dry weather this year!
  4. Nice post. Remember parents...your kids watch and listen to you more than you think.

  6. Don't know how acurate that posted roster was...seems names where left off...it had Chase Horton on there for the West (that was last year). Chase is in college...but Andy Travis is there from Camden.
  7. Go Milan...bring the state title to West Tennessee!
  8. Don't think anything has been made public yet...
  9. That says alot about a program.....having 2 athletes nominated for Mr. Football in two years. Especially when its never happened in the past. Coach Ward and his staff has made tremendous leaps and bounds for Camden's program. He started that program from scratch. The fans needs to realize its been a very long time since any kind of traditions has been taught at Camden. A true fan is there thru it all not just there after the wins. A fan lets the coaches do all the coaching (its there job) and the fans will keep their loyality in the stands where it should stay. Ok, I will get off my soap box now...and get back to this thread... CONGRATS DANNY! What a remarkable year /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. I've been a Lion fan far longer than I've had kids involved...fan has to be dedicated to their team, win or lose. But no, don't ever go against my Lions. If you have any extra, send all the "fly swatters" Humphreys County has just in case we have to pull out a few tricks /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  11. well at least they didn't specify "full color"... /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  12. WOW /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> what post people/kids leave on here...would luv 2 B at this game but unfortunately will have to be at the Camden/Fairview matchup...hope the Waverly crowd keeps the Lions informed of how the game is going. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  13. good post...sounds like a hurt ego, lets both get past first round playoffs and maybe we can meet up again...
  14. Expect a packed house come Friday night. Got to go with Camden this one. Will be a physical game for sure, but our boys can hang with 'em. Lets see how far the Mighty Camden Lions can go this year....next stop the 'Boro!
  15. The way I understand it, there will not be a Murphy Fair Program book...this templete is it.
  16. BUMP /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Besides, I heard all the "welcome" signs are out for the Camden Lions...
  17. Well maybe they will be ok if they wear a scarf and toboggen... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Camden, lets make a BIG showing and support these boys. Bring the family, your noisemakers, and lots of Black & Gold. Bleachers will fill up fast, so will the fence row and would be great to see lots of Black & Gold on Waverly's side too from the spill over...This isn't the same team that started this season. They all have grown. I've watched many of the Camden Lions teams over the years...but this team is tough, determined, and very athletic. Lets continue with the record breaking year!!
  18. Travis, Dudley, Gaskin, Crawley, Ibarra, Miller, Pagal, Murphy, White, etc...the list could go on and on! And can't forget our Golden Toe...Kim. Each player on either D or O could be a key player. This game will be a big "Pride" game for either team. It is for all the marbles...Just praying for an injury free game. Seems to have been too many athlethes being hurt or killed lately...just want all to be safe.
  19. Got to go with my boys...the Camden Lions want this bad! Lets make history Lions...3 in a row!!! Camden lets show these boys how we much we support them...show up and bring the neighborhood. Lets be as loud as Stewart County started out being...remember kickoff is at 7 PM, not 7:30 PM...
  20. From the Camden Lions of West Tennessee...may the good Lord give each one affected by this horrible tragedy strength & comfort and know that they are all in our prayers...
  21. Formerlionsdad...so suprised you haven't been on here already! See all the "fun" you've missed...all that leaning on the fence talk (not just for Friday night)...24/7! Welcome aboard. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  22. Look folks...remember these are someone's kids names you are totally bashing! I am a STRONG Lions fan, but grow up and remember "if you can't say something nice about someone...don't say anything at all." This thread is getting alittle much...give your predictions and views about a team in general...I realize everyone is gets excited this time of year as region championships are determined. Stewart County has had a great year, everyone's time eventually comes around but remember I AM a Camden Lion fan...
  23. Even if the Lions were playing at home it wouldn't matter. The Lions Staff will have this team ready mentally and physically. There is never a game that is an expected "give me." The Lions will walk onto the Rebel field with one goal...to have the most points on the board when the final horn sounds. There is a region championship up for grabs. The Lions have got the ability and the drive to bring home the first ever "back to back to back." Good luck to the Camden Lions, may you play your best game with no injuries and continue to have impeccable sportsmanship...Proud of those Lions!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  24. Camden takes each game seriously. No this one doesn't affect the region, but there is a pride thing with Camden. Each game is worth winning and each win is just another step on the ladder to a championship!
