  2. ^how'd the grass look? helped install it piece by piece (sod) in july...hard work. have no connections to mt juliet but want to come see a game this year and see what it looks like grown in. coach perry is a great guy and wish him the best. all the facilities up there are awesome. the subdivision is kinda a unique scenic view
  3. if MTSU can play like they did last week i think its a done deal. exceptional performance by the raiders. just gotta find their consistency and do it week in and week out. but last time i went to Lexington the raiders gave the wildcats all they wanted...that was in like 01 or 02
  4. BlueDevilsPride44, you wouldnt happen to be related to Robert would you? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> but back on topic, Alex Smithson of Riverdale /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. i will be in lexington on saturday, wearing blue as a matter of fact /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> GO BLUE RAIDERS
  6. yall got tossed around on the line the whole night. thats why our backs where runnin over yall all night (with flags coming out like a plauge)
  7. very true statement. blackman has awesome fan support and the coaches owe it to them to atleast try something different. and at least give crocker a chance...if your gonna hand it off 90% of the plays you really could put anyone back there having beasley on the sideline first half was no help for the blaze. a team that relys on the big play (blackman going on a 85 yard drive is unheard of), you have to have your play makers in the game. bowers and patton have great talent that just isnt properly showcased and cant be in that offense. but yeah i was thoroughly proud of the warriors especially coming right out the gate and scoring first possession on an 80+ yard drive. much better game played by riverdale than the score indicated. the penalties and wet footballs absolutely killed us. but we had positive yards almost every play we have some great legs in our backfield. PBD, sorry we didnt meet up i thought you would come through the gate by the track on the home side at half time. but we will certainly catch up sometime this season
  8. oakland is on a roll /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  9. well we do tend to bring out the best in each other /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> you knew my comment about our talent was directed at you, because you have consistantly been the biggest doubter of our talent, even at times last year. the text i put in parenthesis is what it is because i simply dont understand why you would make our talent an issue...sure, the talent level is down, but i know we have more talent than blackman. i mean thats great, yall narrowed the gap, but still got a ways to go in my opinion to catch up with the dale. but hey, yall got more than enough talent to make the playoffs in region 4, so thats saying something. just get your offense together and no doubt the blaze will be playing in november. btw, i know one of the blaze best defensive players status was in question for the game earlier this week when i saw him. saying no names, do you think he'll play?
  10. i just dont see why you get all torn up man /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> but for real like every post you make about me your putting words in my mouth or refering to me as some kind of extremist or something. i dont think i have ever used the word "DOMINATE" to describe this team this year even after what they did do to antioch. and man, where did i ever say the talent level WASNT down? im just saying you make it seem like they dont have enough talent to walk off the bus under their own power and certainly the boys are coached up but the coaches arent the ones out there playing. so i stand by my statement of "riverdales talent level has been in question and they are anxious to prove doubters wrong." and i definately feel as we have more talent than blackman. we might not have as much talent as beasly or patton at their positions...but my point is say if the two teams merged it would be alot of blackman guys moving to 2nd team. and i have given smyrna credit (the posters who could confirm that appear to no longer be here) but i ALWAYS felt like the were second best and im justified in that statement...but its not their fault riverdale couldnt do more with their playoff rematches. thats a real rivalry so i even find their struggles kinda funny...but before you put more words in my mouth no thats not a diss at your beloved williams brothers at all so good luck to blackman. besides the five-something posters yall have here, im probably next in line for biggest blackman fan, and have been predicting the programs arrival in the near future since they were 0-10 a few years ago. a just think alot of blackman fans and even a couple players ive talked to are wrong with the assumption that they have reached the pinnacle because they are 2-0
  11. i have no idea why blackman fans would make it a case that we lost to oakland...cause they will beat yall too, your time just hasnt came yet /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> riverdales talent level has been in question (for what reason i couldnt tell you) and they are anxious to prove doubters wrong
  12. post some specifics about rankin if you dont mind...whats he play and how big is he now? he was always a fixture around the riverdale program just like his father. he was on the sidelines among the players during the games at a young age and coach rankin even had started letting him work out a little in the weightroom among the players before he left. raised a winner, im sure he'll be a talent. i was just surprised to see his name in the post i forgot he was in HS this year
  13. i hope if they are really putting this into effect that all region 4 teams set out buckets at their games to help give the coaches of lebanon and wilson central something to continue through the rest of the year...probably will be ALOT less than their regular salary but nobody wants their season to end like that. would put 2 forfeit wins on a few teams schedules and i think they would rather play to determine the results. of course their are bigger causes to put a donation bucket out like the hurricane gustav, but i just hope something can be done to prevent this. im sure both schools boosters are already working towards that.
  14. Riverdale Oakland Lebanon Siegel (toss up) Franklin Bolton Independence Warren Co. Cookeville Dobyns Bennett
  15. WOW! if you honestly believe phillip fulmer had anything to do with that loss last night, you are sadly mistaken...and must've forgotten about 3 missed FG and a blocked punt that got returned for a touchdown. a fairweather fan of UT in the past myself, i will stick with them even if they went winless this year. INCREDIBLE talent on that team just have to put more points up
  16. ohs takes the cake and keeps rollin
  17. i believed the hype but i have just havent been priveledged to see it yet. just like how i couldnt give bryson of smyrna any credit last year cause the only time i saw him he went for -6 yards against our defense. and the first time i saw smith on his freshman highlight tape i thought i was staring at a mr. football. amazing tape, but in person i have only seen him run around horizontal and usually stopped in the back field
  18. so they just got dumb these past 8? and yeah, those stimulus checks fixed everything right? like insult to injury
  19. everything is simple on paper. of course i havent seen blackman play yet, but i feel like our offense will be head and shoulders above blackmans. i dont think blackman could mount a 90 yard drive without a 75 yard play. riverdale has a whole stable of backs thats gonna pound you all night (just gotta hold on to the ball), we'll be rotating fresh backs in and i think blackmans D will tire down. after blackman graduated their top playmaker in wallace, im anxious to see what collier can do offensively. though i must admitt im not to worried about bowers or smith
  20. i have predicted blackmans rise just like pattonsboydad has predicted riverdales demise the past couple years...but i think its more of the same. Riverdale 33 Blackman 10
  21. i just want to thank LOD for single handedly motivating the boys to victory last night! maybe if you talked some trash about your alma mater smyrna they could win a game too i hope you stand by your 5-5 prediction for riverdale
  22. blackmans defense will certainly have to make a heck of alot of plays...and hope riverdale fumbles the ball alot like against oakland. blackman isnt as good as i thought they would be thus far (hard to say with them at 2-0) and riverdale is just about where i expected. i think riverdale can mount the big drives and go the length of the field while blackman will rely more on the big "gamebreaker" type plays. both are improving and havent caught their stride yet
  23. i believe last night was the first time all 4 of murfreesboro teams (five if you count MTCS) won on the same night. certainly appears there is a chance for ALL mboro teams to make the playoffs this year, which would be the last year that is possible. every team needs to do their part and make that a reality (forget smyrna lavergne lebanon and wilson) /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  24. poll looks great...for now like most years as the season progresses, middle will rise, the east will slide, and a couple west TN teams will be in the mix
