  1. money talks... he's a sellout.. Most could be true, but that is not his reason for telling.. look for it to be a best seller
  2. Don't forget the triple double earlier in the season too. He is doing all he can and trying to make the team better as his most important goal. A important thing to note too is that Dotson has put up his best numbers against the AAA state's best (Hillsboro and Franklin)... He is a smart player and he leaves at the end of May headed to Knoxville to beef up and get with his team... I can't wait to see what he will and can do! thumb
  3. good point, but I didn't think coaches applied to the cap... Then again like you said, Volek may be the style Chow is used to?? I would like to see McNair back at least one more year though..
  4. I know everyone will say it their own, but let's hear your reasons why you think it is yours...I will go ahead and say 11AAA with Hillsboro and Frankin both in it. (both of these are in the top 10 in the state) and most of the teams in district give them pretty good competition... ok, let's hear you...
  5. now with an offensive mind like Chow, McNair is almost a lock I bet...
  6. Results... Hickman Co 44 - Ravenwood 36... makes HC 7-8 in district (tied for 5th).... Dotson 20-12-3...
  7. It is now officially offical ... Norm is a Titan!!
  8. thumb Doesn't that just continue to show what everyone around the league and those who have come in contact with Fisher think of him? Then again, I am sure the million dollar salary helped too ... That is just what Titans need and may even keep McNair around!
  9. On Tuesday, Jim Rome said about TO and his press conference that TO needed props for what he did in the super bowl. 46 days after shredding his ankle, he was back and back in full force. He was heroic like Shilling did for Boston and his dedication to his team. Some say he was doing for his own glory, but even TO said if he would have been Brett Farve we would all be singing his praises of what he did... What do you all think? :justwrestle:
  10. oh, and to answer HCgolf's question He will have a great night. I would like to see him get his second triple double of the year to end his Senior season on his home floor... but none-the-less, Dotson will contribute what he can to help win and help the other guys to do the same, the stats will take care of themselves...
  11. playing much better since last week... :justwrestle: Seriously though, that was one game and probably a wake up to them..Besides, all that really matters for most of the teams in the state is district... they have played well against the district (and State) best Franklin and Hillsboro.. they show up when it is time to play their district foes, so hopefully they will do well tonight. When they are unselfish they play their best and they are starting to do a better job of doing just that right when they need to. Right before district tourney.. thumb
  12. Getting Chow out of USC could break up the dynasty there and could help the vols if they meet them in the Rose Bowl... Looking forward with great hope I guess!
  13. He is in fact in Nashville today. Wycheck and the gang was talking about it this morning on the zone. Seems that Fisher would be glad to have Chow for this year or for several years. The NFL has gotten to the point that it is a year to year look and not a five to ten year look. Chow is in fact looking to be a head coach like meals said, so he may not be here long, but it would be great to have him and I think it too will lure others for a guy like chow to come... besides Chow has done all he can as a OC at the college level...
  14. Thanks for clearing that up afan, didn't mean to sound harsh, just defending Dotson and know what kind of determination and dedication he has to doing well, He will make all UT fans proud...
  15. What I said is not my opinion, I said check out what Gibbons and Bossi said.. You may know them from Unapproved Website?...that is straight from the Pros Scouts who see guys from coast to coast...Gomab even has had him vowing for one of the three spots in AAA Mr. Basketball, but I guess he has no talent and these guys are wrong...hey, you did get one thing right, "his awful performance LAST NIGHT..." He had fourteen one night while averaging over 25 a game and over 15 rebounds.... even Michael Jordan had off nights... You can say what you want, but his for-the-year stats do the talking.... I am not his Daddy, but glad to know him and to see him do so well... thumb
  16. I like how everyone that "thinks" they are basketball gurus compares Dotson to the first person they can think of that didn't make it at UT.. Once again Chuck, I will take Bob Gibbons and Eric Bossi thoughts on how Dotson deserves to be at UT or any other High Major... and UT is lucky they got him... Then again, you probably have no idea who I am talking about seeing the way you compared him to herndon...
  17. Hey glad to hear you all have gotten better since the first matchup with the Dawgs... don't remember as much trash about Dotson then, huh, oh well... Yeah forget he is averaging Double Double (25 and 15) You are just one of a few teams that have held him under 20.. I would definitely be proud of that, but to dawg him and say (quote afan1222) "I hope Dotson gets better and improves before he comes up to UT. A D-1 signee should dominate AA teams" To base that on one game that you didn't even see, How would you even know to make that comment?.... I wish Waverly the best, Hickman takes on a district foe tonight, maybe the team was just holding back.. I hope.. Oh and own Hickman Co.. Come 'on... that is just one win
  18. Gomab, I think he will keep moving a little.. He is averaging 20+ and 10+ and several assists(not exactly sure on all the numbers)... He has already had the triple double (which we will not get into again) thumb , and all this with his team yet to gel for the season.. plus he is double and triple teamed for many games... The Franklin coach was quoted he was glad that he was able to hold Dotson to 15 double teaming him the night they played.. that is the top AAA team in the State... I know I am pushing him, but he deserves it.. a good kid, hard worker, and a top ten out of your 55 come'on....adn I know you said he is not set at 14, but doing all I can... Thanks for your info that helps keep Coach T going.... thumb
  19. like to see the Eagles win, but I think the Pats play better overall as a team and will win it going away.. again hope I am wrong, but afraid not...
  20. Sherman will do great... Fisher wastes no time finding good replacements... I think he will wait a little bit though for a OC.. He said he want a guy to run HIS offense not a guy to come in with ideas of a different offense...
  21. It is also tough to play any other teams besides the District teams when there is such a large district...
  22. The rebuilding or going with what ya got is soley upon McNair's shoulders or should I say sternum.... You can see the early years how McNair was Fisher's boy... and that is fine, McNair is great and it has worked out great! But Fisher and the team will go as McNair stays or goes..
  23. absolutely.... He averages 20+ and 10+ and several assists... and even with those high stats he is a real team player... looks out for the best of the team for the win and what he can help others do to get there... great post dawgsfan71!
