Hamm you do a great job buddy! Me and da Mrs. moved down here from da far nord some years ago and I must say dat we do enjoy da rankings! You betcha! It takes at least til Christmas to get'em all ironed out. Ya, Ya, Fritzie, It ain't no easy task! Me and da Mrs. will be headed to da Cleveland Duals dis weekend to check out da great wrasslin and sample some of the tasty offerings da concession stand will be sellin. I cut too much weight back in da day and I am trying to make up for it. I'm still a waitin to come accross some good hotdish! Who has the best concessions down here?

Christian Brothers in Memphis just built an athletic developmental building that is amazing. The building houses a huge weight room that can handle over 70 athletes working out at the same time. A cardio room, reception room looking out over the football field, a wrestling arena and locker room, state of the art training room with 2 cryogenic hot and cold tubs that can each hold 5 players at a time, a state of the art equipment storage room, numerous meeting rooms and coaches offices, and a football locker room that has all the bells and whistles such as a media wall, multiple flat screen TV's, NFL style football lockers, along with a logo on the carpet and ceiling in the middle of the room. I know I have omitted many other features, but there was a surprise around every corner. You gotta see it to believe it!

They didn't do you any favors with the pairings, but you will do fine. I was there last year and remember a GA. team who won some duals. Make sure to get some ice fishing in after you take care of business.

No, I have not lost my mind. I never said anyone was from Memphis. But I do think that both spent some time in Memphis. In fact, I think one of the 2 guys lived in Memphis for a few years. Oh.. If you look back in the thread you may see a question about Chuck Bean. Thats right, I think he may have had something to do with copperheads wrestling.

Is that the same Chuck Bean who ran around with a John Feldhacker? Now there was a pair! Those 2 pretty much dominated the Memphis party circuit in the early 90's. A couple of ladies men who could fight. From what I've heard they are 2 UTC legends.

There have been some successful programs in Memphis City Schools, but from what I've seen, it is difficult for these coaches to do it all on their own. It takes not only a good head coach, but also a supportive administration, financial backing, a good group of parents, and a group of coaches willing to do it for free. Ronnie, Tell us about the differences coaching at Ridgeway vs. Houston. Shootfirst, It sounds like your heart is in the right place so get it going in inner city Memphis and I will be right by your side.

We appreciate both of you guys supporting this event. Many of us felt that the Open Division was the best part of the event. We will work a little harder to get more open participants next year.

They will be OK if they get there by 9:00. Rules clinic will start at 9:30 and wrestling will begin at 10:00.

You can get your USA card at the event before weigh-ins.
