  1. I can promise you we won't be bring ten buses. We were scratching loose change to get the two buses to bring the whole team. Now on to the important stuff. Who was it that was having the Gumbo at their tailgate?
  2. We didn't know ourselves BHS. Well we were not 100% sure. LoL
  3. In all fairness to how well Lawrence Co played this is really just a Millington highlight
  4. Four missed the Liberty game 3 are back (QB,RB & LB) but 2 of those are not 100% but getting better.
  5. Very good advice olddevil. It's about a hour closer ride than we had last week so we defiantly understand how crucial that is. Think you could have some heaters waiting on the sideline for us. lol. Hope for a great game. Good luck to you guys.
  6. I believe your first reason is the answer. It was early in the season and everyone gets up for WH and WH probably had their guard down some. I wasn't there but that's just my honest opinion.
  7. This will be a tough one for Millington. They have been struggling on offense with a freshman QB and RB for the last 5 games due to injuries to their starting QB and 1st & 2nd RBs. Although they got their 1st QB and 2nd RB back for the Lawrence Co game they were still not 100% as they struggled to get back in rhythm with the offense. When playing a team like Henry Co. you have to be 100% giving 100%. Make no mistake the Trojans will give 100% but the question will be will their health be back 100%. Looking forward to the trip to Henry Co. and good luck to you guys.
  8. Glad to see good, respectful conversation on this thread. Enjoy this while you can. Once BlackHavenSenator gets wind of this topic it's "no holds barred". All respect out the window. Good luck.
  9. Thanks for the insight and analysis of tonights game. Looking forward to seeing this match up. It's always exciting while anticipating a match up with a opponent your not familiar with except for a little game film. Sounds like LCHS is a very talented team with lots of athletes. I just hope the long ride, weather and raucous student section isn't too much for our team to overcome and that we all witness a great game. See you shortly and Good luck to your team tonight.

  11. Like Mark said Millington had a pretty decent offense until they lost their quarterback and their first two running backs. Millington's defense has been pretty solid all year so hopefully they can hold LC to limited scoring. What scares me about a team like LC is not getting an opportunity to score. With a offense like theirs they can eat up some clock and take the time of possession away from you. Should be a great game. Looking forward to the trip. See y'all there
  12. I would be thankful for being in the playoffs with a home game. You could be made to drive 3hrs to play in the first rd.. Now that would be tough.
  13. I really was wanting to go, but my mom is closing on her house at 3 and I'll be moving her. If something throws a wrench in that I'm definitely going to try to make it there. This could be a good game and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Cordova comes out with the W.

  15. Thanks for the prayers BartlettHSGrad04, the word is that Kip didn't have anything broke, but he will be extremely sore.
  16. Millington is definitly struggling with with all the injuries. The LB that was out would have made it harder on them running the ball. But make no mistake about it Devin Bush is the real deal.
  17. Unfortunately there's a lot of truth in your analysis of the Trojans kwc. I believe the Trojans leading tackler is out this week also. Not looking good.

  20. Wouldn't have expected anything less of you my friend. I said Millington not ,,, Nevermind,,,, QB tore a tendon from his ankle in week 5, needs surgery, First RB tore MCL & ACL in week 4 and second RB broke ankle in week 5.
  21. A Note from the Millington locker room. The Trojans have lost both of their RBs and their QB for the season. This week they will be forced to bring up a freshman QB and a couple freshman RBs. Just a little inside info they may or may not be helpful. Now you can make your picks.
  22. Here is the top 10 Memphis area RBs. NOTE: the Millington RB stats are in only 4-1/2 games as he went down with a MCL/ACL you can find a lot more on stats on all the Mid-South are teams at http://shelbymetrosports.blogspot.com Name School ATT YDS AVG TD DeVante Turner East 158 1064 6.7 17 Earl Harrison Ridgeway 132 1034 7.8 11 Chase Hayden St. George's 105 901 8.6 10 Christian Saulsberry Northpoint Christian 102 888 8.7 15 Colby Cartwright Houston 124 839 6.8 9 Jamal Jones Trezevant 89 828 9.3 10 Colton Neel MUS 149 803 5.4 12 LaVar Johnson Cordova 121 727 6 3 David Simon Munford 166 683 4.1 6 Keno Taylor Millington 4-1/2 Gms 98 679 6.9 3
