21 - 3 Alcoa Oh crap.Thought it was closer.Ah well,heckuva season,tell ya what.Loudon boys came out ready at Polk.Thought they'd give ya fits.Congrats,have fun.Saw some of the Loudon crowd at the little league game Saturday night.Our junior team went 12-0 this year.Sumthin' else.NOW!,,,,, what the heck are we gonna do on Friday night,,,,,,sigh.!

Football mom,ya make sense.Alot of interesting thoughts here.How about heart? To keep trying when you're down.Like one post said,playing a team ya know you're gonna knock around with your b-team is no fun.Play the best,win or lose,ya know ya were trying your best.I've seen so many games at all levels turn on a dime.Thats where the luck comes in.To know as a team you are supported by your parents and community,the -twelvth man-,means a whole lot too.Dang ,I wish we could play like 16 game seasons,,,,sigh,,lol.Ya'll be NICE now!

Even from a distance, it is hard to believe how loaded that district is. I guess it makes for some great games along the way. This half of the bracket is much tougher than the other side. Sheesh.........Loudon wins easily? ol' shark musta been smokin' them 5000s. Yeh they won,but there was no easy in it.

I'm very proud of our 'Cats tonight.11-1 history making team.Hard to see my,our boys take it so hard,but its their passion for the game.Loudon came out of the gate ready.Great game.The holes their o line were making going to the right were quite large.And #5 just ran it down the d line's throat.That was the best,toughest team they have played this year,IMO.Reminded me of little league heartbreaker with the same two teams about ,?,6-8 years ago? Congrats to the Cat's and Loudon.Now go shut Alcoa up,Redskins.......

Jared is an athlete.No one but him is responsible for that.However he was not on the junior team with Rocky that won the championship.You only have a team for a year.Some stay,some go.THIS team is the real deal.There are sixty some boys on the team this year and they all contribute.Its a team sport,and Derrick has let the boys know that since he started.The comment about no praise I pretty much agree with EXCEPT the fact that they get it from who it counts-their coaches,parents,and fans.We are out here for OUR boys.Go Big Red.

I think what DmacDaddy was meaning was that he would like to see how well we stacked up with the best team in the state. Alcoa IS the best team in the state but I don't foresee anyone in red (Loudon or Polk) preparing to get on their knees and pay homage to them next week. Whether you lose 3rd round or championship game second place is just first loser. Hear,hear,DrFlint.I was gonna say where was this dude at the South Pitt game.Going back four years,where was he at the junior's championship game? Our family eats and breathes football ALL season.On the bye week we travel to watch other teams just for the fun of rooting for someone we DO play against.Its hard to grind it in the opposing teams face when you're ahead by 21 or more.Blowouts suck,in my opinion.Come to the Loudon game.You ought to hear some hollering then.And after going on twelve years of rooting for the 'Cats,from the time our boy was 5,the ol' vocal chords can STILL HOLLER!!!!! :lol:Our boys know we're behind 'em, GO 'CATS! .........P.S.,when we were doing the little league thing ,we always wanted the Loudon game.Great program,great competition.

ow. thats close to all our hearts.our son has played since he was five.kinda (?) signed him up two years he didn't (kinda) want to.watched the heartbreak of losing a little league championship by a two point conversion,8-6 score.watched the high of winning it his first year on the junior little league team.so many memories.now going for the first ten and 0 year in polk county.thx upnorth. and

possible,i kinda thought that in the second half at SP the guys thought it was in the bag. .probably get the rundown this week at practice about thinking its a gimme.go 'cats
