I hope Sunbright is able to pull off a victory. It will be a long ride for them, but they should be happy to escape the tssaa miscues and make the playoffs. They have had a good year and I hope they reward themselves by showing up and playing hard, bringing back a victory. We'll be waiting......here kitty, kitty!

I didn't realize you guys were under new coaches this year, I'm sure they will adjust and improve next year. I was really suprised at the bench and # of players you guys had dressed, not like G'back teams of the past. Best of luck to you guys next year, and try to spread the word to clean up the tailgate guys on the visitor side of the field, not very nice men, and not a good atmosphere for children. Not a very good representation of G'back fans, I've spoken to several that are very nice and cordial, These guys were not (excessive foul language). Just a suggestion from a fan.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. There's absolutley no logic in that seeding process, as evident in this case. They need to set the Quad's then seed the teams accordingly. It shouldn't matter if you win your district or if you are a wild card team, you should be seeded by record/strength of schedule. You could have a team win a weak district and have a terrible record and wild card team from a tough district that has a good record. Just something to talk about.

Well stated, "stated". Thanks for confirming the flu "excuse". Greenback is always tough, our district was down a little this year with the Cherokees and Midway having tough seasons. You can mark it down, this is going to be one of the toughest districts in the state to win in the future. Those guys will be back, and Tellico Plains is also a little down this year. TOUGH road ahead in the future.

I actually thought about the "Urban" reference when I wrote that last night. I can assure you and all Greenback faithful, I had no intentions of making excuses for our flat play in the 1st half. Greenback came out and was ready to play. I can't remember seeing more 50 yd td runs in a game. Seymour, #2, is a player for you guys. I was very impressed, even more so now that I know he's a Freshman. As far as the flu and injuries comment, I was just stating facts, sorry you took it the wrong way, hope this clears that up. What's up with Greenback's # of players, I was suprised to see so few? Great effort by you guys. I told one of your men standing by the fence that you were playing like champions, not a 3-6 team.

This was a game we could have easily given up on, but didn't. Thanks for the well wishes from our SP friends. GCA battled the flu and injuries tonight, but managed to pull out a miraculous victory. Nice work guys, now get healthy and stay focused.

Greenback is down this year, and could come out fired up, its senior night. I think GCA will have too much for the Cherokees this year. We owe them, remember 61-36!

Might not be something "crazy". Our guys have been playing half throttle for a couple of weeks, they need to RAMp it up to get to see you guys. They are GREAT when they want to be, and can go as far as they want to, we just hope that's all the way! It would be great to see you guys and see your program. I think it would open our fans eyes and let them see where we need to go to be an elite program. Best of luck Pirates!

77 would make me feel much better...I saw SP lose last night and Tennessee choke just now...Can not wait for Dec. 4th I know you guys (SP) are destined for the finals. I'm looking forward to the chance to play you guys in the semis, providing we make it that far (nothing is certain). As far as I know, if we make it that far, you guys will have to make the trip to the REAL Grace to make it to the finals. I feel for our Grace brothers, I hear they are down and the program is in jeopardy (unfortunate). I know for a fact you don't want to play them in basketball, they beat us last year in the quarters. Good luck South Pitt and Grace. Hopefully see you pirates in Knoxville in November. It will be good for our program to see your crowd! And we hope a good football game will break out!
