  1. Being a representative of District 4 (play for Loudon), i have to pull for Alcoa. They are, in my opinion, the best team in the state until someone proves me wrong. Alcoa by 17. Wheres a good place to go and grab some food before the game?
  2. As a senior playing for loudon, i first wanna say congratulations to Alcoa. They're a great football team with a lot of class. Both teams played great all night. It was a defensive struggle till late. Alcoa's athleticism just took over in the fourth. Really wish we could have pulled this one out. I'll be making the trip up to Elizabethton [ and possibly Cookeville as well]. Hopefully it wont be a disappointing trip Good Luck to the Tornadoes the rest of the way.
  3. The redskins will have to play a flawless game friday night against the tornadoes if they want to win this game. they'll also have to throw the ball a lot more than they are used to. this should be a good ball game. hope those kids from alcoa are 100% by friday. looking forward to a great ballgame. both teams have worked extremely hard to get where they are now and have had great seasons. good luck to both teams and hopefully there are no injuries Go Redskins!!!
  4. Loudon and Polk are almost identical. Great O/D- Line. Both have backs that run the ball very hard. I give the size advantage to polk but i think loudon has more "big play" potential. Should be a great game and a great atmosphere. I enjoy lookin out over the away bleachers at that pett mountainside
  5. I s there any possible way we can postpone this game until saturday so us Loudon-ians can come watch this game? haha don't really want to make a prediction on this one, but good luck to both teams. Praying for a safe and injury free game and hopefully we'll get the chance to play one of these teams again next friday
  6. Ouch, thats a little low. The only reason we beat you guys by 7 last year, is because of that awful excuse of officiating. If i remember correctly we had over 150 yds worth of penalties while HV only had around 30? Pretty sure that deficit would have been a lot worse had the officials not tried to gift wrap a victory for the home team. Loudon over Bledsoe 33-10
  7. IMO, there is no way CAK will lose to Central. CAK is to good all around for central to win. and if Loudon comes out ready to play they will beat Bledsoe. thats really the only upset i can see from looking at the bracket.. Good luck to all teams representing District 4
  8. My vote goes to either Godfrey from Central or Matthew Warren from CAK.
  9. Loudons defense is too much for Bledsoe to handle Loudon-33 Bledsoe-7
  10. Were you able to get Wallace going? How about Plemmons on the option? What worked for you the best on offense? Good call on the CAK game BTW. Loudon actually tried going to the air against the Bears early on, and then went to the running game later. plemons scored from 35on the third play of the opening drive, then forced bradley to punt but muffed the kick. Bradley got the ball inside the 1 and forced them to kick a field goal. with about 1:30 left in the game loudon had the ball on about the 40 ( i think) and started running the ball and wallace scored with about 30 seconds left. IMO loudon still played poorly on offense. but a wins a win Congrats Redskins
  11. This should be a good, hard fought football game for both teams. Loudon has a big O and D line, and a very good defense. Depth seems to be the only problem they have. Dont really know a lot about Bradley other than they have a shifty tailback and a big fullback. And #55 from Loudon goes about 6'5 270. Good luck to both teams, hoping the Redskins have a safe trip to and from Bradley and an injury free game.
  12. How do the Redskins match up? After the alcoa game i would have said we were going to win this game but after a terrible performance against the warriors and being shut out for 8 straight quarters, i wonder whether or not we can move the ball. Any thoughts?
  13. CAK just took it to loudon in this one. Is loudon as bad as they played? No. But that doesnt take anything away from the fact that CAK came out and made us like it for 4 quarters. They threw the ball all over the field and even ran the ball when they had to. All in all CAK just wanted it more than we did last night. Hats off to CAK on the win, and good luck against Sequoyah this week.
