Troll, to me Signal looks very young and nothing like last year. They have ALOT of work to do and in all honesty i see 2 or 3 more losses on the schedule(Tyner,Blackman, maybe SP). People didnt realize how much the Eagles lost year, and I think some of there fans didnt either.With all the youth the eagles should be fine for the next couple years.

I can coach pretty good from the stands ...Coach White has done a great job. Looking foward to the game against SP jr high.

Sequatchie Co middle played Signal middle and the Eagles had maybe 6 yds off offense against them. However, There middle school program looked improve. Good looking athletes. So I doubt there middle school team could win 2a. However, Sequatchie Co middle has shut out 7 teams in two years with a 14-0 win vs Warren Co on tuesday.

Good to hear about Sequatchie Co. Looking good. They are only playing 2-3 seniors total. They are young and the future is very bright .

The Indians had a big SR class last year, so this will be a rebuilding year for the Indians. However, They will be competitive. They will start mostly SO and JRs, with some FR sprinkled in the 2 deep. They have a great coaching staff, so they will be well coached. As someone stated above a Playoff game this year would be a huge success, but I know Coach Barger expects to be in the playoffs every year. Thats the standard he has. GO INDIANS!

Didnt mean to confuse you OP. I was talking about middle school. Sequatchie started about 6-7 7th graders last year off a 7-1 year losing to SP in final minutes( one of the best Middle school games I have seen). South Pitt Jr will be tough again, because they will be well coached and they wear the Orange and black. High school South PItt will be tough again. Sequatchie should be playing alot of Soph because they had a large SR class.

It's South Pitt,Sequatchie CO,Marion Co,Grundy,Bledsoe,Whitwell.This is the conference,Sequatchie should be the favorite with what they return.

It Can be done if you have the talent and the Coaching. Sequatchie County went 1-19 couple years ago, and they hired Chad Barger. First year he Jumped them to 6 wins with a 6-5 record( Thats with Playing Boyd, Tyner, and When Marion had Joe Muir). Overall past 4 years he has racked up a 27-18 record, and a first Round Playoff win. It can be done.

Yea SP will be the best in the valley again which they should. Grundy has looked decent this spring. Jasper thinks Coach Mac has magic powers and made there players bigger and faster over night lol. Whitwell should be whitwell. AHavent neard much from Bledsoe, but they lost Owensby so that has to hurt. Sequatchie has looked impressive starting 5-6 soph and only 3 Srs. Tied Soddy and Franklin 3-3 in diffrent scrimmages. Should be a fun year in the Valley. On a side Note. SCMS scrimmaged Alcoa and lost 1-0 tonight. Future looks good for The Indians and Pirates.

Sequatchie will be better then that...No lower then 3rd, even with the young talent

I'll take the bet on Sequatchie. I say they will beat MC, and they will do it with only 5 seniors starting . They had freshman , soph, and juniors playing just like MC did . Next year you better hope you can beat Sequatchie, if not ... Will be a long time before you do. Best of luck.

How much you wanna bet on Sequatchie Co.? Bledsoe will be decent next year also. Marion could go 6-4 to 8-2 next year. The only guaranteed losses I see is SP and Sequatchie Co. Best of luck to you.

Grundy will compete with Sequatchie and Bledsoe Next year . Both teams expect to be down a bit. However, after next year the pipeline comes through Sequatchie so time will only tell what happens in the district. Grundy does have a chance to finish second next year.

This should be a good matchup. However, I think the Sequatchie will have the overall speed advantage, and has played the tougher schedule. Sequatchie is VERY physical and has great speed at some positions. I think this will be the one of the best if not the best team Harpeth has played all year. Best of luck to both teams. Haha...you take Polk out of your district and it IS the weakest district in the state. What happened to Sweetwater going to run Bledsoe of the field? Give me a break other then Polk there is no team in that district. Bledsoe will mercy rule Meigs.

Sequatchie should be fine in this game if they play well. However, ND has the kind of OFF, that if they get a few turnovers it could be a diffrent game. I just dont see the Def giving up 41, unless most is on backups. It was 50-15 heading into the 4th QTR against Whitwell, but they scored alot of points on the backups and they finished with 36 or so. Most of that Easterly kids yards came on a backup corner and saftey. Best of luck to both teams.

CCS hung around with Boyd to an extent. Had kids Injured against Lookout Valley and got mercy ruled, Then kids came back and got a big win over 2-0 ND. Emotions keep it close at first but polks wins by a couple tds. CCS-14 PC-35

Grundy played two good teams back to back, and that helps them with this game. Grundy wins. GC-35 WH-14

Two days till the big game. Sequatchie is a good football team and I think we have enough speed ( better speed then people think) to keep this close. Sequatchie will have to run right at SP to win, and I think we are physical enough to do it. This will be the most physical teams both will play to date. Best of luck to both teams. I agree pirate mike. Sequatchie is better then what people realize. I wouldnt look to much into the 17-7 final with Grundy, Sequatchie dominated the whole game. We had a couple TDs called back, and were inside the 10 twice and didnt put it in. We will have to start converting those chances to beat SP. The Score could have easily been 31-38 to 7, but Grundy played us hard to there credit. There only score came from a returned INT inside our 10 to there 15, but still took them 8 plays to score. This will be one of the better games in the state, and I think the score will be closer then people realize. Best of luck to both teams.
