Nice work Gerry. This is the best job top to bottom 3A has been in the 3 years of this awful system. My only issue with this is that for the sake of travel Bledsoe is moved into the best Quad and is automatically a 1-seed. Bledsoe is godawful and avoided playing anyone of substance. Think about it, a team whose out of district schedule features 5 teams who've won a combined 10 games (5 of those were from Sweetwater). A team like this should never have any affect on the seeds of CAK, Polk, and Alcoa.

I hope they win the appeal because I believe its just another attempt of meddling by Layne on behalf of The Valley. I doubt they win it though because Signal couldn't help being Signal and went in aggressively instead of hat-in-hand, which is protical for this situation.

Are we back to the '09 format where district winners host RD1 and are automatically seeded higher than 2nd place teams from other districts?

Bradley 40 Polk 12...conservative final score. Polk scored twice on Lenoir City's 3rd team while Bradley Central walked all over 4A favorite Signal Mountain. If Bradley Central is half as good as advertised this one will be over by the 2nd quarter. 40-12 is the most conservative score I can give in this one. Anyone who saw Bradley tonight against Signal Mt knows that this is the best team in the tri-state area for 2011. Rue, Stovall, Justin, and Bryce will cake walk over Polk Co. Can we just go ahead and crown the Times Free Press Champions for 2011? GAME. OVER.

Don't overlook some improving teams in Polk's district.

FWIW, if Larry Davis had been the OC in 07 and 08 BD would've gone 0-3 against Polk.

Alcoa has a case it can make from Baylor North dodging them but it is ridiculous that they gripe about SP when they have Heritage and W.B. inside of their own county who are dodging them.
