  1. I'm thinking district 9 wins 3 of the 4, Northwest being the lone 10 winner.
  2. The play in game now is scheduled for Sunday, and the 4 quarterfinals are Monday.
  3. Right now it's scheduled for 3 tomorrow afternoon.
  4. Sometimes schools need to flip a home and away in a new two year cycle to get 5 home and 5 away. Gallatin played Lebanon home and away the last 2 years, but are playing them away and home these next 2 years, to make the schedules work for both schools. I'm guessing that might be the case here.
  5. Silence so far. It was through the 19th, if nothing is said then I think I'd be correct in saying that it expires today and fans would be allowed back in starting tomorrow.
  6. Gallatin has been added to play York on Saturday.
  7. So was Gallatin, they were down two preseason projected starters, and another that started the first game or two.
  8. Christmas tournaments are regular season games just like the rest of the schedule, so anybody ineligible would be ineligible for those games as well.
  9. Yes everybody has played 2-4 games at this point. District games start tonight.
  10. Great rivalry that goes back a hundred years. Hopefully we can get back together on the schedule soon.
  11. That's what I was thinking. Good luck tonight, and the remainder of the season.
  12. I'm thinking this is the first time you and Gallatin have played each other, glad it worked out. Safe travels, this should be a good one, can't wait to see it!
  13. Who has their full 2021 schedule already set? I'll start with Gallatin's, here it is: 8-20 at Mt Juliet 8-27 Blackman 9-3 at West Creek, R 9-10 Station Camp 9-17 Hendersonville, R 9-24 at Cookeville 10-1 Rossview, R 10-15 at Beech, R 10-22 at Lebanon 10-29 Clarksville, R
  14. The week of November 16. Nov 19 West Creek at Gallatin, girls and boys November 21 at Gallatin: Westmoreland vs Gallatin girls. Oakland vs Gallatin boys. Westmoreland vs Northwest girls. Oakland vs Northwest boys. Summit vs Northwest girls. Northwest vs Gallatin boys. Summit vs Gallatin girls.
  15. Yeah but I'd block out about a four hour afternoon to get the full load of his comments!
  16. That surprises me, they'll love a good bit of money, especially on into the quarters and semis.
  17. While I see your points, I don't see how the TSSAA had much choice here. It only takes one ineligible player to mess up an entire team's season, how many times have we seen that happen? There has to be consequences to hopefully be a detriment to others doing the same thing. And by the way, the chances of them winning that appeal is slim to none, closer to none.
  18. I think they were only shut down for the year because they weren't going to make the playoffs, I saw something earlier that said they'd probably be at Beech if the appeals were denied.
  19. Yeah and if they both appeal that probably means going into the first of next week not knowing for sure the matchups. Ultimately though the chances of winning those appeals would be slim to none, they'd be appealing to the same people that handed out the punishment in the first place.
  20. If it's virus related the school forfeits out, but in the case of postseason bans teams get bumped up to fill the 4 spots, so Page would be the 2, and Columbia and Lincoln County would be the 3 and 4 it looks like.
  21. Franklin Road Academy is hosting on the these dates, and 2 teams that will be there are Gallatin and Father Ryan.
  22. Watertown of course is the host, plus these 4 are in it: Gallatin, Riverdale, White House and Portland. I'm not sure who the other 2 are.
  23. Yes, it's been expanded to include an 8-9 seed game.
  24. I don't believe I've ever heard one person spend so much time advocating for something that will not not ever was going to happen, especially not being a fan of either school. The TSSAA worked hard and came up with a set of rules that they thought was best for the circumstances, circumstances that by the way they and this entire country have never faced before. Gallatin's coaches worked very hard to find replacement games just so they could play 10 games. Region opponent Hunters Lane could've played on Oct 2 but said they didn't want to, so we played a top notch Henry County and lost. Everything is out of way out of whack this year, it just is what it is. Most are just thankful that this many games have actually been played.
  25. This thread started 3 hours ago, before 1:00 I'm guessing, and the published time for what's on the TSSAA website is 1:35, so I'm thinking they published the wrong thing earlier, and corrected it at 1:35. According to what's on there now, Whitehaven is squarely a 6A school.
