No excuses. HH is a top team and the beech keeper said she hasn't faced anyone who hit shots any harder this season. The Bucs looked more than a little flat after playing 3 in row, including a tough 100+ min against HHS-emotional rivalry match-the night before.

Hendersonville rolled Portland. They were up 6-0 at half and that's the way it ended. Station Camp got my girls with the 6th PK. The game ended 1-1 after regulation and overtime. Soccermommas girls learned a lot since the first the game against SC. From where I sat I thought Beech outplayed SC, but our season is still over. A real classy move from Lyndsay Mayo (SC) when she came over to console one of our captains and best players about missing one of the kicks. Best of luck to District 9.

Hendersonville vs Portland at 6:00 tomorrow.

The district 9AAA tournament started Sat. Station Camp 4 Lebanon 1 Beech 5 Wilson Central 1 Portland/Gallatin Hendersonville/Mt. Juliet Left after the Beech game. Beech and Station Camp will battle in one semi on Monday at 8. The other game starts at 6. I hope Beech learned something from the last game they played against Station Camp. I expect a much closer game.

Beech got by Tullahoma tonight 1-0 in 60 minutes. JV played the last 20 minutes. Tullahoma is a good team, #19 is a tough dynamo.

I'm afraid district 9 is going to have trouble with district 11 on Sat. I will also pick district 4 over district 1 even though I would love to see DB break through. I pick Collierville and White Station to advance to Murfreesboro and Riverdale and Lavergne (for their first time in school history).

Lavergne is a good team and playing well, but they haven't made the tournament yet...
