Lol. Offering to take Barn to the train station. When does the football chatter officially start? After dead … uhh … sorry Barn … later in the summer?

Barn-you shouldn’t have admitted to not being a voter! lol. I do appreciate you paying $10 for those five dollar season tickets. You probably saved one of my kids a few dollars.

Not sure, they all start running together for me. It had to be around the same time. If I’m not mistaken, a new booster club president was put in place around that time as well.

There are many on this board who are much better connected to the happenings at 8:25 than I am. My opinions are strictly limited to what I’ve seen through my sons involvement over the last 12 years or so. Yes, that is more than one son over 12 yrs! Lol My primary criticism has been how segmented the athletic programs have become. I had hoped it was just an anomaly when one of my oldest sons missed his graduation ceremony to attend his baseball substate game. Talk about a lack of planning! That’s inexcusable. Most recently, one sports program is having a game on the same night the basketball team is playing for a chance to play in the state tournament. That is kind of ridiculous. There are other examples. IMO BETTER integration among sports programs is needed. Everyone used to completely support football. Now, the other programs support football, but not at the expense of their own team. Players have become more dedicated to one sport because the coaches encourage that. If we are going to play that game, we need to add on facilities because we will need another thousand kids at 8:25. Part of the AD role in the administration should be to form that connection between individual sports programs (and academics for that matter). Otherwise, I’m not sure how an AD is being utilized. It includes more than eating lunch together.

Hmmm…what year was the change made at AD?

There should be consensus on the favorite to win it all, but which teams have the best chance of being state runner up?

Thanks for the confidence Sweet. I can’t forget f’n hairtage sending us home last year. You know, it’s not only murvils baseball team struggling, but all the baseball teams in the county seem to struggle. It is a tough district, but you only need to finish 2nd.

What you think SS…Blount county football and basketball teams are definitely above average. Even track and volleyball have recently excelled. What’s the baseball problem across the county?

At least it was good to see in the Murvil rag both coaches recognizing the talent on the other team…uh…check that. SMH

As hard as it is to believe, there are occasionally some basketball parents who know more basketball than the Health teacher. Strange indeed!

All kidding aside, I don’t know the situation. It always seems there are some legal exceptions or loopholes to rules. Maybe he moved? Or his parent is now coaching…kidding again.

Prolly got a good deal on one of the available football residences. Some include garbage service, pool and/or club memberships. Very affordable if you know anyone. Please submit hudl highlights with application.

Several really good players on the floor. I’m a big fan of the other WB kid as well. It seemed like #22 elevated his game and does not have to score to have a big impact on the game. KW needs more aggression IMO to match his skills. Good game.

Neither but ties to CC. Watched them play basketball as kids in CC and football in AC as highschoolers. I even caught a few games at MC. I hope they do well.
