CCS has put the beatdown on us every year since 2020. But, that was under different leadership. Its good to see these kids competing and winning a few games again! As far as CCS is concerned, I don't know what they have over there in their Butler buildings this year, but I'd say they will have plenty. Especially when preparing for the move up to the blue blood division in the next cycle. Hope the Rams can go down there and continue to build on what they've started this year.

Man!!!!! If we could turn back the clock to 2011 I would be on here throwing flaming arrows as fast as my fingers could type the words 😂 But, unfortunately, I took a phone call in 2015 from the Chief of the Cherokee tribe and we both found out we’re not as bad as we each thought the other one was. I still have some animosity over an empty apartment though In the end, we got old and soft and we don’t throw punches like we used to. But, this one would’ve been 50 pages of good reading if we turned back the clock! Sounds like the community is going to get the last laugh in this one, depending on what the developing story is. Hoping for the best for the 20 kids on the team. They can’t get these years back!

I like what I saw last week, Boog. Same kids as last year on both teams and we barely squeaked out a win. Same kids on both teams this year and we cruised. The difference this year is that we have real leadership at the top. That said, I’ve got us at 5/6 wins. Any new talent on Vermont Ave to help your clan?

Hate to hear that. Small schools have down years from time to time, unless you have a pipeline coming in from surrounding areas. Looks like that pipeline dried up and the new staff hasn't figured out how to get kids to transfer in. Hope things pick up for you guys.

I don't know what the solution is, but I have no problem with BA and Ensworth playing where their enrollment figures land. Under a A and AA system, they both would play in AA. If the split is at 400, you would have 31 in A and 18 in AA, going off the 2023-2025 enrollment #'s. With Boog's ND team walking a thin line with enrollment of 392.

Sounds like you’re one of the assistants that’s on his way out the door with your talent assessment. I would counter with the fact that the best athlete on the team played less than 25% of the snaps. I’d say that’s on the HC not recognizing or comprehending his talent. Before you start, no, I’m not a players Dad anymore. But, that Freshman should’ve played every down until he had to come out on his own. I promise you he’ll get his full workload next year.

We’ll be fine. Rusty could coach and he won with the kids walking the halls at GCA. I believe our new HC and his DC are better coaches than Rusty. Minimum 5 wins next year. I’d say they pull out another W to go 6-4 regular season. I agree with you on staying healthy. Small schools can’t afford injuries. And your comment about 3-4 difference makers, agree also. You must be a small school guy, good opinion. I would also say that we have 3-4 difference makers already there.

Last coach won 8 games in 3 years, which was the worst 3 year stretch in program history since we started our program. And your statement about our players being unathletic tells me that you know nothing about what we have on campus. Go over to the Fulton board and carry his flag for him. Time to start winning again at Grace. It will start this year.

Great hire. I don’t think they have to take us to the semi-finals or else. I think they’re expected to win and that’s something that’s been made clear since the new head of school came in. Look at the basketball program and the change that was made there. This isn’t UpWard sports. Those teams meet Saturday mornings in the gym. We had a basketball and football coach that didn’t understand that. You play to Win, Winning brings in more talent. Simple process. BTW, the Price brothers will win a minimum of 5 games next year. I wouldn’t call it a rebuild. The talent is on campus. Winning 5 games will be more in a season since 2020…

I agree. Great guys that know how to coach. I talked to a friend that coached for them at CC for 3 years. He said they know how to develop players. That’s something we’ve been missing. Looking forward to August. Hope you guys get something straightened out down there too.
