3-0 in double OT. Completed the perfect season 10-0, in our 2nd year of Bernie's punishment. It was an absolute mess that night and you're right, SP wins if its a dry track. Their speed would've been too much for even our team to handle. The mud was the great equalizer that night.

Not a different language, Chuck. If you’re referring to my LA comments, you will need to go back and read those again. I’ve never said anything about recruiting or getting players to come into a program. Actually, it’s the contrary. I said we’re in DII, get as many players as you can, if you have the resources to do so.

The well is pretty dry on our end of town. We might need to go get those bunk beds out of storage and get some of those 'cruits to come live with staff members again.....winning came easy in those days.....

I've never complained about LA getting kids from all over. If you have the resources and the ability to do that, that's why we're in D-II, we can. I never said he made TN Football worse. I said he was a disgrace to TN HS Football Coaching. He could've handled himself much better and I wouldn't have made the 1st comment. He didn't. Heck, y'all can't get anybody to play you because of the way he's conducted himself...

Boog, I don’t ever recall us “thumpin everbody” in D2-AA. We never made it past the quarters. As far as my comments on that goof of a coach, I stand by those remarks. I’ve sat on those comments for several years….

You can research it, you’re obviously new at that school or you would know. And yes, he was fake crying. If you’re crying for over 30 seconds, there are tears running down your cheeks. It’s Fake Crying 101, I took the class.

I never said anything about being good or bad for Lipscomb. I referred to TN HS Football and his stupid antics. Didn’t mention all of his comments, but those too, and the way he treated us as a school and a radio station in the quarterfinals. And, yes, it should’ve been embarrassing to see a grown man fake cry on TV. BTW, I’m from the original GCA…

Y’all gotta stop sending your refs to baseball Spring Training with the pitchers. They get those arms so strong and feel like they have to show them off on Friday nights….Flag, run 3 plays, Flag, run 3 plays, Flag. I believe there were 24 penalties assessed and probably a couple more that were declined. Those boys got their money’s worth too.

I know GCA has to have a "sponsor" to pay Diamond Clear to broadcast our football games. I don't believe any of that money ever went to the school or that we ever charged that company a fee to broadcast the games, home or away. I know that the school never charged the radio station to broadcast games. The audacity of the OSSD to think that a radio or stream would keep people away from the games is absurd. I've never heard anybody say "Should we go to the game or watch it on the iPad?" Unless its pouring down the rain, there's no decision to make for 95% of the fans. They're going to the game. What they should've agreed to is to have ads they can run for different activities for the school and actually get some benefit out of the broadcast instead of charging them pennies (which is really what $100/game is)! I stand with you on this one, bud!
