This article was dead on target. Ask any player if given a list of places to play the championship where they would like to go. 1.Knoxville 2. Cookeville 3. Chattanooga 4. Memphis. 5. Mtsu or Vanderbilt. I would bet the farm none of them would pick cookeville. They would then ask where is Cookeville? Alabama players got to play in Jordan hare stadium in Auburn this year. What a thrill for those players to play on that field. Think they were excited? Tssaa has made this event a joke. The great state of Tennessee and all its high school football glory is showcased in a little town and old stadium. All the other states are laughing at our bad joke. Make it special for players please!!!!!!!

Why would a 4a team want to play a 1a team ?

I was commenting on the play calling and mistakes the canes made.{special teams,and game plan }.Canes starting tailbacks and ,corner,two starting linebackers were out. Starting Quarterback /safety went down in the game.I take nothing from Red Bank ,but they should have won the game. However they were not the team they have been in the past. Canes had been improving each week and passing more and more.I hope that trend continues.

Red bank game made the lions look like the Tennessee Titans. Canes looked like last years team and the play calling was no better.Canes are going to run the same four plays all game .Defensive backs look lost and could not cover anyone. I do think they will get better next year,but only if the staff get their thinking out of the 1980's.

Owls are at home for the first time in five weeks.I think they will be a much sharper team .I just hope staff has an equally inspired game plan.

Owls look like they do not have a clue as to what they want to do on both sides of the ball.Their play calling has been "let's just flip thru the playbook and see what might work." They do not scout the other team and try and create miss matches.They are not even doing things that were working at the beginning of the season.No counter plays,reverse,screens,trick plays...very predictable. My hats off to Bradley. They used their talent and got the most out of them.Good game plan and your team was fired up . Hope the Owls can regroup and play hard for the seniors. They are a great group of young men.

I agree, Walker Valley ran up the middle giving owls the Owls fits. I do not think Owls will turn the ball over like Mcminn co.and that may keep game close.

Yes she does know and I was talking to yours on her 900 number as I posted. I think these boards should be about talking football and helping our area players, but if you want to just talk trash and name call we can do that as well. You have become what you have claimed you hated. Ooltewah has new coaching staff and few seniors. The season has losses to 6-1 Franklin and 5-1 Maplewood both on the road. Yes they have looked bad at different points but what program with a new coach and system does not go through this? (Tennessee,Alabama...)What are you basing your downhill slide comments on?

Was Rhea in a shootout with Catholic 15-48 loss or Bearden 0-33 loss,I can't remember. Oh yes it was the shootout with the 2-5 Wilson Central team 12-16 loss.(who's the doormat). My how a team can have a good game and then consider themselves the greatest team ever.Cleveland beat Bradley who beat you in the shootout 24-28 loss.Ooltewah has beaten 4-2 Tyner and 3-3 Austin East. Both teams have had some good wins and bad losses so it should be a good game.

Owls got off the bus flat.played with little or no emotion. This team has talent and it is not being brought out by the staff.They need a spark and or a major fire lit under them, but i am not sure the staff knows how to do this. Season can be turned around this week and make a strong run through the district. Go Owls

They can make it if they all play together.They have the talent to make that run and pull it out
