  1. Breaking radio silence... BDP trounces the little sister from across the street. White House 3 - Heritage Nil. White House seems to be rounding into post season form. ...peace
  2. I had heard Ryan Creel was not playing this season. That's the runout mill for ya, huh? He is definitely a huge difference maker. CAK as always is loaded and will be a whole lot to handle. Last years game featured two uncharacteristic mistakes by White House which allowed the first 2 goals, digging WH a big hole from which it was impossible to recover. It was relatively even from there. That being said, that was last year. If White House can avoid early mistakes it should be a highly competitive contest. Winner should finish the deal Friday, So this is a BIG GAME! 4-3 White House in a barn burner!
  3. Here's mine... WH over ND, BDP once again ends Irish season...Boys this time. CAK big over TCA, only blowout of the quarters. Kingsbury over Greeneville, close probably, but the Kingsbury track team moves on. CPA over East Hamilton, I think this is a pick em game, but am giving the nod to the Lions. WH gets the CAK mojo off their backs and rolls into their first ever soccer state championship game. CPA edges Kingsbury and sets up the region 5 title rematch this time for the big trophy. White House Blue Devils win first ever soccer state championship by defeating CPA convincingly in the final... BDP
  4. White House gets ND in quarters, CAK in the semis, with CPA waiting potentially in the finals. Looks eerily similar to what I saw in the fall. So, G, while it looks a little different, the song remains the same...
  5. WH beat Brentwood 1-0 Thursday night.
  6. That essentially locks down all East Tn Tournament spots for the next 4 years for private schools. CAK Catholic, ND, and CCS. You publics better get to work!
  7. Anybody that pays ANY attention knows the coach T polls for anything other than football are as inaccurate as a Tim Tebow pass. The only rankings that matter (for as much as any rankings matter) is EurosportScoreboard. No offense to anyone at Coach T intended....
  8. Crow eating time...CPA wanted it more. Revised final A/AA rankings 1. CPA 2. CAK 3. White House 4. ND 5. CCS However, I still know where the field with the 2 goals is and I just checked, I still have my ball. Congrats CPA you are definitely the best private school playing in Div 1 in the state!
  9. Thank you , G Well she has said for about a year and a half that she did not want to play after HS. Suddenly, she has decided now that she loves it too much to quit and is now furiously trying to make some contact with coaches. She is furious that she waited so long to do so and now is behind the eight ball.... Somehow this is all my fault.... Anyone know of a school in search of an intimidating, fearless keeper, with a big foot??
  10. Actually, I think I just wrote the book of DCurtis on another thread....LOL
  11. Wow, Do I have a lot to say.... So much that I am struggling to find my voice. LOL First, I must admit the hospitality of the Chattanoogans was impressive. Champs, Cannon, and even Booger thanks for the dose of Ol' fashioned southern hospitality. The comments about our team have been nice to read. Second, one thing that this weekend proved, White House, lived up to their hype... (hype provided by MCHS and Myself). As I have said WH has belonged on this stage for at least 2 years, probably 3. In 2010, they were upset in the regional semis by Lipscomb. Lipscomb was a team they had beaten in the regular season in a 1-0 match that wasn't really that close. The region semi was a nail biter all the way, but WH controlled that match as well, but just couldn't finish. In 2011, they were denied access, by CPA in that same regional semifinal. The fact that CPA was victim of a MAJOR upset in their district final by Hume Fogg was the only reason we were not here last year. WH had dominated Hume Fogg 4-1, tied CPA 1-1, and beat CPA 1-0 all in the regular season. That leads me to my third point. These young ladies had one goal this season, History WILL NOT repeat itself. You are all soccer parents, so you know the level of effort it takes to succeed. So I am not going to dwell on the details, but they achieved their goal and much more. I am so proud of these young ladies! I can bet ya, nobody will ever underestimate WH again. Right, Irish fans? Fourth point. (Yep still going) Last night was a tough one! Last one for my senior daughter! It had to end sometime, right? Well she said it all as far as I was concerned right after the game... "Dad, I am fine with it, I did ALL I could do. They were just better. NOT MUCH, but they were better." ........She never shed a tear. Words cannot express how proud I am of that young lady... Fifth Point.....LOL... CAK is number one in the state for a reason, and tomorrow they will be crowned again. IMHO. Best team we have played this year. Maybe Brentwood was better, but we had 5 players out so I don't really know, and they are AAA. Sixth Point... All A/AA tournament team from what I saw (didn't see Elizabethton or Sacred Heart) and no offense intended to anyone's kid.... This is what I saw... Laura Champion, Notre Dame Emma Higgins, Notre Dame Laura Morse, CAK Addy Cronan, CAK #13, CAK, Defender who man-marked Kendall Morrison all game Lindsay Curtis, CPA Micki Dye, CPA Kara Wegner, CPA Kendall Morrison, White House Kate Carney, White House Goalkeeper, Mollie Curtis, White House Seventh and FINAL point: (for now) My somewhat final A/AA Rankings, prior to finals being played.... 1. CAK 2. White House 3. CPA 4. Notre Dame 5. CCS Lol....had to do it, but I think that the CPA parents who stayed and cheered for CAK knew who they didn't want to play again...and if any of em have a problem with it, I know where there is a field with 2 goals and I have a ball... BDP....OOOOOH RAAAAAH DC out
  12. Funny! Please take a deep breathe and refer to my past posts regarding the Public/Private debate before blasting my following comments: The bad part of the public/private situation is that this White House side is a once in a generation assembly of talent for a public school. These girls did not, nor were they able to choose, or pay, to go to White House. We personally are a driver and a pitching wedge away from being in another school district. THAT is what makes it unfair. But, again, those are the rules, we have worked, invested time, invested money, and blood sweat and tears to get where we are. That makes it even sweeter. ND, CCS, CAK, and CPA will be back next year, rest assured.
  13. Controlled is an overstatement. WH controlled the first 20 and last 20. ND the middle 40. There were only 4 real good scoring chances, WH converted 2 ND converted 1 and WH missed on a third. Great game from both sides, Someone had to lose... Should be two classic games tomorrow, then hopefully a region 5 re-match Saturday morning. However, any of the 4 remaining teams can win it. CAK should still be the favorite as rumors of their demise (Thanks, Big G and Akula) have been greatly overstated... BDP. Oooooooh Raaaaaaah
  14. I would also offer there were not 8 good shots...other than the goal score, I don't really remember a truly good shot? All shots are definitely NOT created equal. WH also had one other point blank shot off frame that 99% of the time was a goal. Love that you propped up my daughters line tho' But, of course I see things thru blue lenses some times. Kudos to the ND players, they left it all on the field! Somebody had to lose this one. On this day, it was ND... BDP
  15. Now that is FUNNY, I don't care who ya are....
  16. Does Boogerette know you call her that publicly? I think not
  17. Umm...yeah, I can promise you don't. Thanks all for the tips. We are planning a 4 day stay (OOOOH RAAAAH), So I will try as many as I can. BDP
  18. Important question!!! Parents pregame meal suggestions... Local favs?
  19. Yeah and we all know how good you are at picking em
  20. We at WH try to pick on everyone equally! Equal Opportunity #### Whoopin... The difference is that publics have to do their picking in cycles. We just happen to be at the back end of a tremendous group of girls... And trust me RebelSoccer, having grown up in Fulton/So Fulton, I know something about being picked on.
  21. Get you some of that! mchsgoal21, Are coming to Nooga to show some d10 love. White House travels well, but I am sure we will be outnumbered. We can round you up some BDP stuff to put on if you want...
