Sorry but I have to agree. I know Alcoa is down, but i jus don't see Bledsoe pullin it out. Alcoa by atleast three tds.

I would say no, but solid and they have a good pursuit. They don't have a Hargrove or an Allen type athelete on D. #35 our Sophomore starting linebacker has all the ability in the world and when he is on he can certainly be a playmaker. The S/QB #24 can also be a ballhawk in the secondary. We have a very underrated def end in #15 he can wreak havoc at times in the backfield. This team as CaK is young and ealy in the season had to find its identity as well. The SP game woke these boys up I hope. After beating Signal at home (even without McClendon u can ask anyone they are still the most powerful team in Chatt opposite of Baylor) they seemed to get cocky and only practiced the starters all week due to fall break. And got smacked in the mouth. SP gave that Knox Grace team all they could handle in a 3-0 loss in OT. This should most certainly be a great game. Is that injured playmaking reciever gonna be able play this week? He was hard to handle last year.

Yes it shoould be. The fact that CaK has added the running abilitiy really scares me a bit. I couldn imagine that Air it Out Offense adding the run game. It was hard enough to defend last yr. The run game could get CaK over the hump and improve their chances at a Gold Ball tremendously. I'm a die hard Polk Alumn, but I don't think our boys can pull it out unless CaK makes a few mistakes. Polk is a totally different team this season away from Benton. They jus can't seem to get up for the BIG ROAD GAMES like they do at home. With that bein said I'm gonna say maybe we can capitalize on a few mistakes.... 21- 20 Polk Football dad what style of offense would u say has gaiven that defense the most trouble to defend this season?

Last yr this game was awesome with Cak gettin the win in the final two minutes. Both teams lost leadership and talent from last season. The young guys on both sides have more than proven when they play to their ability they can play with anyone. Goodluck to both teams and GO BIG RED!

From my understanding they tried but Alcoa had already filled their schedule. They had a hard schedule this season playin Signal, Boyd, Polk, and Knox Grace. U gotta have games to let ur boys heal between those.

From the things I have read and what I have heard from fans I think they lack leadership on the field.

Polk is lookin for blood after the letdown against South Pitt. Why only the starters practiced that game week instead of the whole team due to fall break is beyond me. They came out and dropped 42 on Meigs by halftime before the B team came in after the half. I hope Polk can pull it off. I say 20 13 Polk.

I know why Bledsoe got the 1 seed. Very weak schedule and won't get out of the second rd.

I was holdin my breath on this game. The boys let the Signal win get to their heads. Way to go Sp and please shut the boys up across the state. They need it.

They are speakin of McMinn Central. And I can assure u after the first few weeks Polk got a few players from preseason injuries along with the shuffling of a few young talents over less talented upperclassmen has made em a different team. Alomg with Akins getting more comfortable at QB from WR last season.

Actually Loudon WHIPPED us 2 yrs ago. The CAK game last yr we had every chance to win and lost that game in the final two minutes. We had the lead with 2 min left and let them fly down the field and win by 2 pts..

Akins I a very atheletic qb. Jus ask SM, heard they were very impressed. Saxe will carry the load with Mull and Sophomore #27 Wimberly. We can also pass, but should be a better game due to it being at SP.

My guess would be yes. If CAK lost to Alcoa and Polk wins out. That would be Polk verses Alcoa for the one seed and Alcoa would have three losses to Polks one. I may be wrong, but it seems logical.

10-0 in 09', 9-1 in 10'.... I get confused I jus remember we won the region both yrs and one yr homefield and an incentive for bein district champs and one yr it didn't matter if you won ur region or not there was no incentive to winnin the district.

Has this changed since last season? Polk was 10-0 won their district yet got seeded behind both Alcoa(10-0) and CAK(9-1)...

Keep their wins?... Obviously he had a lot to do with those wins or they coulda just kept on rolling. Let the parents take it out on the coach and whoever made the mistake. You have rules follow them. They knew the consequences had they gotten caught point blank. Price u got caught and u did no better at Bradley.
