Rumor has it that quite a few applicants have applied...some interesting names being thrown out, and some of them I highly doubt have applied...but 1 applicant I heard would be a great fit. That's Kyle Shoulders from RBS. He fits everything Westmoreland needs right now. And some may not know this, but he began his football career in Westmoreland, playing Pee-Wee football through 6th grade. I remember watching him play back then and back in the day at MCHS.

Absolutely...he would be a great hire. That Eagleville defense was great this season.

I remember watching him back in '92 when he nailed Rodney Hampton vs. the NY Giants. Capella was a hard nosed player back in the day. Too bad injuries forced him out of football. I hope the rumors are true about Capella being a candidate for the job.

Honestly, Oakland fell off this season. All of your comments (if Oakland didn't turn the ball over twice in the redzone, and the fumble later on) are excuses for the Oakland fans and they can use them to feel better. People make these excuses all the time...the fact is, all of these things happened in the game, and they got their butts kicked. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. Mt. Juliet is the better team right now...and Mt. Juliet will take care of Oakland this Friday.

Last time I checked, no one on this thread is from LaVergne...even Bolddust. I believe his ties lie to a private school in the Nashville area...with the nickname Cougars, if I'm not mistaken.

Ok, thunder00, I have agreed (in the past) on some of your posts. Now, this is mind-boggling. Your predictions are about as bad as Wilson Central's offense. #1 Beech, loaded team with the BEST coaching staff in the district. #2 Mt. Juliet, I have no idea why you're not sold on this year's group. Losing Cornelia hurts, but the Bears will bounce back. #3 Hendersonville, I can see them possibly sneaking into the top 2 spots, but they are a lock in the top three. #4 Station Camp, yeah you probably think I am crazy, but this team will be the surprise pick this year. #5 Gallatin, I think this could be a down year for Gallatin. Station Camp will finally get over the hump and will be victorious over their cross-town foe. #6 Lebanon, new staff = rebuilding. I can see the Blue Devils moving up the rankings next season. #7 Portland, yeah you definitely think I am crazy, but I vision the Panthers beating the Wildcats of WC. That doesn't say much. #8 Wilson Central, as you can tell, I am not a fan of what is going on at WC. The Wildcats will struggle this season and continue to be at the bottom of the barrel in this district.

Since thunder ranked his teams, I might as well list mine. #5 Franklin- So tired of hearing about them and Centennial fighting about rumors being spread. #4 Goodpasture- Everyone knows why these fans are annoying...and if you don't believe they are, they are probably recruiting your son to attend the school. #3 Macon County- Everyone in Macon believes the world revolves around their redneck school. They believe they have "talent", but most of the fans haven't drove outside of the Macon/Sumner County region, so they wouldn't know talent if it smacked them in the mouth. #2 Greeneville- According to Greeneville fans, they are good enough to beat the New Orleans Saints this season and make Drew Brees look like a 3rd grader. #1 Riverdale- Well, I don't have to list a reason why they are annoying but I will anyway...just check out any thread on District 7A and see the usual suspects talking crap about the all mighty Riverdale Warriors.

Are you serious? No offense, but what is legendary? What's the farthest Westmoreland has been in the playoffs? 0 state titles...and you call that legendary?

That's good...Also, TTU requires the fans to clean up their own trash in the stadium. It's going to be tough for Cougar fans to get in then.

The only thing a bulldog and Goodpasture has in common is the bullcrap that comes out of both of them.

Nobody does anything well against Goodpasture apparently...they are the greatest team of all time according to CPHAGER. Their defense is better than the Steel Curtain Steelers. Goodpasture makes Tom Brady caliber Quarterbacks look like Rusty Smith. What's next CPHAGER, none of Goodpasture's previous opponents take the field after halftime cause they are scared they might get sucker punched, or kicked while on the ground...oh wait.

Look at who Goodpasture played to get their record this season. Whites Creek (1-9) Westmoreland (2-8) Ravenwood (3-7) Sycamore (3-7) Macon Co. (5-6) Don't run your mouth about quality opponents when Goodpasture's recruits play cupcakes during the season.
