Kentucky has the best system. 1 Tournament = 1 Champion. Everyone against everyone. 5 champions is to watered down. And just wait, if and when this split ever happens the people who constantly get on here and whine about privates will turn all of their attention to the big open enrollment schools. It will be never ending.

An idiot would be someone like yourself calling out a school for having a Cookeville transfer when you have one starting for you. And before you get on her spouting off who is better and who didn't play, you boy started at least 4-5 games last year. Paynes dad lives a block away from Goodpasture (which is Madison for the stupid people like yourself). Also, being from BA I know a little about getting kids to come, much like all of those storied girls,programs you talk about. Not all of that was "homegrown" talent. So not only are you stupid but you are a stupid hypocrite.

Shhhhhhhh! Those County schools in 7A do not want anyone knowing about them "persuading" kids to switch schools. I mean that would kill all of their arguments about recruiting and cheating.

So I would assume with MJ starting to heat up a little bit that their coach isn't going anywhere? There have been some rumors of him leaving but I didn't think they were very reliable. Same people saying the WC coach was leaving to.

At the end of the day, Mitchell won the state title game last year by 29 and return everyone who was major contributors. The won't be touched in Single A. Everyone else just playing for second.

WOW! I'm not sure Goodpasture would want the negative publicity that would come from hiring someone with his history. There are way better candidates out there.

I scouted a team last night that we play first thing after Christmas and noticed they have a new asst coach. This new asst is also an AAU coach on the HS level. Has the rules changed on this, is this legal now?

I understand Mitchell, they shouldn't lose a game in 1A. Why Union City? What makes them a lock?

Definately time to think about moving on. Wonder what the short list would be for the job and who would be interested?

Goodpasture, Gordonsville, Watertown. Which of these teams will Trousdale beat out? From what I have heard they are going to forfeit games to Goddpasture. Doesnt sound like a top 3 team.

Which coaches are/should be on the hot seat this year? Every year it amazes me how many schools show just how little they really care about their programs by allowing some of these "coaches" to keep their jobs. Here are a few schools from what I've seen. Ezell Harding - cannot believe that guy got the job in the first place, let alone keep it. MJCA - need to gut entire athletic dept. JPII - decent coach but should be winning more with the talent showing up there. Gallatin - Once a powerhouse has been reduced to bottom dweller.

I believe the score of the playoff game was pretty close in FB wasn't it? What was the score of the 2 basketball games you played?

Couple of things about this topic; 1. Those pictures where taken a few weeks ago. The parent was clueless to the rule and when he turned it over to the coach the coach self reported it. It was obvious from the pics he wasnt hiding it. You would be surprised to know how many parents as well as coaches out there that are oblivious to the rules. 2.TSSAA deals with blamers & complainers all of the time, from what I have heard there was no punishment given and it was all taken care of the next day. 3. So much hatred and contempt coming from 7A. Pickett started post yesterday about a bunch of non sense on recruiting and such when there starting PG was playing for Clarkrange last year? 4. Now you have Clarkrange drudging up photos taken weeks ago to try and stir the pot a little. I wonder if that post would have ever came up if they had gotten beat by Gordonsville. 5. Before you blast me for being a cougar supporter, my children go to BA, and yes we are a DII-AA school that offers ALOT of assitance.

How far has he taken the program? From the sound of it and if you look at past records, it seems as though the school has never really had a good team in any sport.

What is the hold up here? My guess is they are waiting on a certain asst coach to take the job or turn them down before they move on to the next guy.

I know someone had started a thread like this awhile back. But I want lists (3-5) of the coaches you think are the best in the history of the state. No upcoming new coaches or your school coach just because you think he is awesome. Guys like Tippett (White Station/ECS) & Pitts (Science Hill/BA).

Jackson Co girls are not a national team. Statewide yes but national level no. Go play Riverdale and see what happens. You still haven't addressed the fact of all these public schools who recruit. Why is that, is there something you're not telling us about your program?
