After seeing Culleoka play, I was shocked to see that they have a losing record. I was also surprised that CA was ranked so high. #15 for Culleoka looked pretty good and #24 needs to stay more controlled so he can play more minutes. If he continues to play that way Culleoka's season may be short as they go further in the tourney. Like I said in previous post, I got my moneys worth last night!

Always enjoy this time of the year. Decided to go to the CA/Culleoka game. WOW! I got my money's worth. The best team won tonight, but I don't think these teams will be able to handle West Tennessee basketball. I will probably wind up jinxing my Golden Tornadoes but oh well.
  6. GC Pioneer perfect comment. I am a UC grad and wife is OCCHS grad. Live in Athens now and am familiar with McMinn Central team. Your comment is right on. Goodman and Massengil should offset each other with Goodman having an edge. The difference will be Macy Wright.
  7. Go to www.tssaa.org and look at Class A. It is on there. Lake County had four players on the team.
  8. Russ Barker, you are doing a great job! Enjoy listening to you as always.
  9. P & G, Sounds like we may have a chance. Yes?
  10. It is ashamed that you are such a sore loser but sometimes being a sore winner can be just as bad. Just remember, Wildcatpride, the shoe could have been on the other foot and we could be talking about your fans. I was unable to attend the game so I cannot form an opinion about our fans or yours, but I will say that your attitude is probably not a fair representation of your fans. Your feelings are probably hurt because UC came to your house and left asking you who your "daddy" was, but that is life. As far as what Ronnie Fair (# 56) did to your team that is the game of football. I listened to the game, and it sounded like your QB was just being pressured all night. Again, that is football. If you want your QB to be protected then that is the responsibility of the OL. There is nothing to pursue are far as your comment on him being on borrowed time. If there were flagrant fouls to be called I am sure the officials would have taken care of that. This is not the NFL or NBA where you can call the comissioner's office and see film to make another determination of "missed" calls. Your season is over so enjoy the success that your team had and look forward to next year. A question I have for you is why do a lot of folks spell definitely with an "a"?
  11. Ignorant post as usual. Bite me. I'll be sure to pull this post back up after the thrashing. Really classy.
  12. Bitter at all..... I'm not bitter...they are disrespectful and ignorrant....I lwait to see South Pitt put 5-6 TD's on them cause they arent good at all....I dont see how yall beat Huntingdon....but anyways enjoy the beating your gonna get Did you enjoy the beating you got tonight?
  13. Go UC from the Golden Tornado in Athens. Just got into UC for Thanksgiving and hoping for a Purple and Gold victory!!
  14. All girls are definitely deserving, but this one was a no-brainer. Chassidy played in the toughest district (13AA) by far and put up no telling how many double-doubles this year. Hopefully Purple and Gold can give me the exact amount. There will be the argument about the fact that she is just a junior. There is nothing to support that constant argument either. Chassidy was the best player by far in AA, and this vote should not have even been close as the PA announcer said it was. Man, he could not even pronounce her name correctly! Go figure. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  15. Chassidy Fussell, without a doubt!!
  16. I taught Carnation's mom at Lara Kendall. Great student and person. Hope Carnation does well. Is T.T. the niece of Demia?
  17. Would love to see Coach Johnson and the Lady Falcons take it all. Oliver Springs will be tough. But hey, to be the best you have to beat the best. Wouldn't you agree?
  18. Colton Speed!! Go Tornadoes! UCHS Class of 1987
  19. Answer: Union City does not show up, literally or figuratively! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  20. Hey P & G, be sure to point out that we are an A school. I am sure someone will come in and say that we should be a AA school. HA HA!!! Not bad hey?
  21. Definitely second to none. Has box seats behind home plate. This field is also used for a semi-pro team, The Union City Greyhounds. Started the Kitty League a few years ago. The city now has a turf management group that is completely redoing the whole park. An awesome sight. Check out their work at War Memorial Stadium (UCHS FB). You can see it on this website as well. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  22. This article was listed under Feature News by Coach T today. The name of the reporter is Kelley Smiddie. He must have written this article from some second, third, or four thousandth hand information. To keep the initial post short I would like to hear from some posters after reading this article. He listed the best team effort by Manassas, the best individual effort by Kenyon Torry of Mitchell, and the kicker, best individual clutch effort by Joe Jackson of White Station. He must have left the tournament after Temple was defeated by The Class A State Champions, Union City.
