  1. Here are the projected enrollment number for Nolensville HS: 2016- 435 2017- 714 2018- 1027 2019- 1099 2020- 1176 Most of their future growth is still in elementary school. They will be AA in all non football sports in 2016/17. If the projected numbers hold true, I don't see them playing 5A football anytime soon or playing 3/4A football with 5A numbers. The school to keep an eye on is Page. They are projected to open at 1205 this year. 1350 next year. By 2020 the projections have Page at 1897. No way that happens without a new building as the school is only built for 1250. There's going to be re-zoning in the near future in Willco. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
  2. Well that outta put a wrap to this thread. I look forward to more predictions, observations, etc. from not only KVAruth, but everyone else over on the 2016 thread. Or any others that get started up.
  3. I didn't say they could beat Farragut. I said they could break thru. Meaning be in the top two in district which likely means a trip to state. As for Maryville, they beat them last year. And at this moment the only eligible transfer to Maryville that I know of is CM. (and that could be in doubt based on the other active thread on this site) HV is a solid team and until all the Bearden and Webb girls roll out in Maryville uni's, I will stand by my comment that this could finally be the year HV breaks thru.
  4. This is why it's hard taking you seriously. HV has 5 of your beloved K2 players....all from ones teams. I think they'd have zero problems with Maryville's JV.
  5. Saw Hardin Valley play this past weekend. Good team. Could finally be the year they break thru.
  6. Another good point is that you missed the point. Summit has not had the athletes to even compete in 7 on 7's. Now they do. It's part of the maturation progress of a young program.
  7. Even without Rector Centennial won their 7/7 pool at Riverdale. So did Summit. But bracket play was washed out by thunderstorms so this was essentially a semifinal matchup and Summit won. The point being that Summit is maturing. The talent that SSMS has been sending to Summit is being molded into a legit football program. Future is bright for the Spartans.
  8. Honestley have to see first who is eligible and then watch them play. Farragut and Hardin Valley have a lot of talent so I look forward to the battles. The best teams I've seen were the Kat Huson Ravenwood teams and the Hunter Thompson Brentwood teams. I would've love to have seen the 2009 DB team but that was before my volleyball time.
  9. I believe you and K2ruth are talking about the same girls if I'm reading this correctly. The Hames sisters. Their parents run K2. And if I'm interpreting K2 right she's saying Mom is the new Maryville coach and her daughters are following her from Webb to Maryville?
  10. Too quiet around here! Any noteworthy news from east or west TN? Know of any teams coming to the Brentwood Team Camp in a couple of weekends? Any predictions for the upcoming season?
  11. Summit 10-0 over Gallatin
  12. Summit wins 4-3 to complete the regular season and tournament championships!
  13. Summit swept Ravenwood. Final game was 7-4. As you note it doesn't matter for the standings. But pretty amazing season so far for the Spartans.
  14. Summit just completed the sweep of Centennial. Congratulations to the Spartans!
  15. This is not going to come across well but the northern part of Spring Hill that's sits in Williamson County is more like Franklin than the southern part of the city that sits in Maury County and where SHHS is located. Probably 70% of the Spring Hill population is in Wilco but 70% of the land is in Maury Co. All of Summit and half of Indy are Spring Hill kids.

  17. I just meant Indy will be the third largest Wilco school next year and could slide into Ravenwoods spot. The are growing quickly. I didn't think about other mid state schools. I think Stewarts Creek is exploding too. And it appear that the TSSAA only contemplated two year cycles going forward. So there could be a lot of movement after next season. Ravenwood will no doubt move down whenever they re classify.
  18. Ravenwood will remain 6A next year as schedules are done in two year cycles and next year is the second year of the cycle. The Raptors won't be affected too much as they get to keep all their juniors and seniors. What I'm wondering is if the TSSAA will keep to their four year reclassification system. If so then Ravenwood will be in trouble as it will take time to rebuild their population base. And as someone noted the growth is the Nolensville side so the Knights will be a large school in no time. The other part of this that will be interesting is that Independence and Centennial will be soon be two of the largest 32 HS in Tennessee. Indy next year for sure. If it's another's three years before reclassification then those two schools should continue to feast in 5A. Should being the key word.
  19. Wonder if anything "big" is brewing for the NHS Knights
  20. Yep. He's gone. And it could definitely have an impact since Centennial is knocking on the door of being a 6A school the next classification go around
  21. Spring Station won the Wilco Middle School title placing all 14 wrestlers 1st-4th in their weight classes. The future is bright for Summit
  22. Keep an eye on Summit. They can shoot from just about anywhere and John Carter is big time.
  23. Most play club ball, but not all. Their best player last year, Jenny Roy did not as she was also a basketball star and now plays hoops for Belmont. I am 99% sure their outstanding libero this year did not play club last year and I think even the year before that. I also don't think their DS played club last year. But again, most of their girls do play club. Brentwood is a destination program right now whether they are moving in or getting grandfathered in. There is an amazing amount of talent in the freshman class. They are going to be real good for a while longer.
