Bolivar is special for Bolivar. Film shows they cannot line up properly. They really struggled with chester co who had no clue how to line up vs an unbalanced line. They scrimmaged liberty and it was 3-2. Knowing what is going on with liberty im not impressed in the least. Congrats to SGC, I may give us an extra unexpected win now. Milan returns to glory with the absence of Liberty in 3a

No one in West TN has more athletes or team speed than Liberty...not even Haywood Co however, I cannot argue anything else at this time...a lot of work needs to be done between the lines and on the drawing board ask SGC and Trezevant what they got in the spring...then watch their seasons unfold Good Luck to everyone Friday night and a little more to my CoachT rival posters

Saw SGC in the spring...haven't been annoyed by Lexington teenagers in years, however, I'll take old school Lexington in this one. SGC has a nice program but seem to be lacking playmakers and studs...as far as beating usj in a scrimmage, I don't generally count scores from 2nd teams, those kids don't play for a reason What makes Lexington so good is that everyone knows what is coming, and the tigers still win...so good on them

This is a joke post right??? Newble went 3-1 vs NS in his career NS last beat Liberty in 2012 Liberty went 13-1 "the year before" 20-0...with an absolute butt whipping of the Indians the prior season of 42-19, 19 coming in the 3rd after the clock ran...

there were only 4 on staff. The DC retired from football earlier in the year so the Patriots wont be too embarrassed this time around. The other 2 coaches are still intact as far as I know

Ever been to South Gibson? Nice facilities, .500 team. TCA great facilities, not really able to build off prior success. You looked at the wrong things coach. I'll take a kid from the streets that's trying to get out any day of the week over a nice squat rack. No one plays harder than these kids. They sacrifice it all for their leader and coach. If we fall off, it wont be because of the facilities, or even the administration. Liberty has been overcoming those potholes for years with great leadership at the head of the football team. If Liberty falls, it will be from a lack of leadership and character implemented by the head coach.

Tornado season is almost over...thought I'd venture out of the bunker and take a look around...seems to be another headed our way in mid August...

Saw Memphis Trezevant today...should be a fantastic match up with Milan in the quarters...skill players and speed should favor the bears, Milan prolly favored in the other aspects...#8 from the Bears is incredible That being said, pretty certain PC takes the winner by multiple scores

I'll check on that...my current understanding is that we had a contract already out and were awaiting an agreement from another school ...riiiiiiiiiiiiiight, maybe check the current and prior seasons schedules before we go stating such malarkey...I'm sure you're aware that the 2 played at PC last season...seems only fitting they should travel to Liberty this year

The better team won, the right team won...Alcoa played 4 quarters of football and Liberty didn't But I do think the refs made their presence known way to often for a championship game...and when they make a call it should be the right call I didn't understand why the sideline interference call wasn't added to the end of the play early in the 3rd quarter giving us a 1st and goal and potentially taking the lead 18-17...that was a huge momentum killer The other call I questioned was the play before Alcoa's interception...18 caught the ball, he and the db were between the ball and the sideline judge that waved it off, no way he had a clear view...I don't think you make that call if you're not sure Was a fun game to watch and a great atmosphere, 30 impressed me more than anyone from Alcoa...I really liked the way he ran the ball Congratulations 2016 Tornadoes

Fortunately for Liberty, the CPA and Dyersburg games were two of the poorest we've played all year...as a whole...the 2nd half of Dyersburg was pretty explosive tho...also, from what I've gotten, we were the only game in west TN to start before 8:30pm that night while everyone else was allowed to let the weather completely pass through...we were forced to start at 7:30 for some reason

That's the spirit Hector! Dyersburg is going to be fine, too much talent and incredible facilities No, he can pretty much play wherever he wants when he sees something...kid is a heck of a ball player Man, not even a jab...just a knock out blow...

Wouldn't you rather say you saw an incredible game and fell to the eventual champion, as opposed to the runner up

I'm curious how big the gap really is...I think the spread using Laz's numbers puts it at 10...in 2015 it was around a FG I think we're going to give you a better game than most are expecting...I also think that the physicality is very difficult to pick up on film...surviving the first quarter without digging our own grave that early is key Of course I want Liberty to win, but a loss to Alcoa in the state championship is not a program killer, I think it will have the opposite effect with the talent in Madison County, very similar to the flooding that came with our basketball program 10 years ago
