I'm not saying some SH fans aren't bad at all. I know there is a couple crazies in each fan base. And the student sections are almost always going to be like that, especially in one of the best rivalries in TN. The players do need to learn to keep their heads too.

I'm not saying this to the whole DB fan base, because every fan base has idiots. And I think DB fans were very classy at the game and showed respect, but I did hear that on of the fans on the front row near the visitors locker room told #27 Oryen Scott he "F'ing Sucked" . So you could only imagine what that did to a young teenage kid. Can't always blame the kids.

And I guarantee Oak ridge hasnt played anyone with as good as our linebackers. Grant Janeway is something else. Ask DB. I'm not saying Oak Ridge couldn't win. But I am saying I think we're a better team than many people, including me ,thought. Maybe it was just because it was DB. But I think if we can play to our abilities, we could make a run in the playoffs. And hopefully meet DB again for round 2.. But we have to play 2 very good teams that also could make a run, Maryville obviously being the favorite.

So get this, Nelson told the defense, who have been practicing against this play all week, that DB would shift the punt formation .. Right before the play. Looks like someone wasn't listening

Only letting a team with a 56 ppg average only score 37 is pretty good IMO

We play y'all tough and have a great regular season and lose a game by 3 points that really came down to the last 30 seconds, and yet you still think this was just a fluke. Both teams made mistakes, ours a little bigger than yours obviously. DB and SH are both good teams that both could give Maryville a good game (hopefully). And I really do think DB was only 3 points better than SH. We've both had great seasons, y'all win again, but now it's time to actually prove something in the playoffs. We go far, great.. Y'all go far, that's good too. That just means the Big 8 was a little bit better than what people thought. Just sucks we have to play Maryville again for the 3rd time in a row IF we make it past a good Oak ridge team. Good luck!

One thing I noticed from the SH game. Clark didn't let Malik and swafford touch the ball enough. And it wasn't because we were stopping y'all everytime. They both had great games. The qb keeper with lead blockers on the outside of the tackle play is awesome. Allows enough time for a hole to open up so Malik can explode through. DB 41 Bearden 21

Watched some film on OR, they got some athletes, in particular I saw some really good WR's. One of them looked real tall with long strides. But I will say this, I think losing to your biggest rival that you haven't beaten in 18 years by only 3 points.. That pissed SH players off. I hope they come out ready to redeem what they have worked so hard for. Then again, they could come out down though. Who knows SH 42 OR 35? Hard to guess.

As the SH players were walking in to the locker room, the DB fans arose and clapped for them. I assume it was for them because the celebration for DB had already happened and the fans were looking in their direction. Idk though. Maybe a DB fan can clarify

Did Swafford get hurt on the play where he was thrown a long ball wide open but didn't catch it, and the was cut in the knees by Mcgue? That looked like it hurt.

I'm really feeling bad for the SH seniors right now. They've worked basically their whole lives to beat DB and they had it. But it was a great game. And I think we learned that SH actually is a good team and can compete with the top teams. Oh and for the DB fans that gave the SH players a standing ovation, that was class at its finest, that's just what they needed. Both teams played hard and both teams deserve respect.

If that point spread happens then every coach on SH staff should be fired immediately. That's a ridiculous statement. That might happen against central or maybe even TH, but I doubt it'll be that spread out.

Please kick to our Malik, or Tre, or Will, or O'ryen , or Story. They're all back there. And they will all return it if the holes open. You guys kill me. You think you're playing against some 3a team with no talent. I say overall we have more talent and speed. But you do have the best 2 in east TN.

I just want to throw this out there, I'd say we have one of the best receiver groups in state, there are JV recievers that would start anywhere else. If DB focuses on what they do best, Which is get Malik and Swafford the ball, then they will win. But if they focus so much on stopping SH's passing game, then itll be close. If both teams come out playing like they are capable of, I see this coming down to whoever has the ball last. But if it is like recent years, where SH comes out timid and scared, then it'll be just like last year and many other years. Reed Hayes needs to play out of his mind Friday. I say he needs to use his feet a lot more than he has. Dude can run. Scared SH 21 DB-49 Confident SH DB- last possession wins.

Boone 55 DC 7 This is a big game for both schools but after seeing Crockett destroyed by everybody I just don't see how even any hype or motivation will help them out.
