  1. They live right down from him actually. I may call them backwards but they still have money.
  2. Simple minded are most of the folks from MJ, unfortunately I know from experience since the backwards side of my family lives there.
  3. Nope, I've got my own team's season to worry about. Pile on all you can though, but I'm sure those boys will be fine knowing they've lost fewer times in their careers than you probably did in one year.
  4. How does someone from Mount Juliet even have a dog in this fight? I may not agree with RW's choice of Internet friends all the time, but how's someone from MJ even feel they have the cred to talk smack about anything at all?
  5. Alcoa has beat us worse, good shot though...
  6. I aint got anything against RW, but you do you and I'll do me. Deal?
  7. Don't most catholics live in the shadows? ND sure had a lot of things coming out lately.
  8. How they're in 5A is beyond me, but I will be pulling for Indy in this one.
  9. Pietarila is good, I won't be shocked to see him do well as a Freshman. I'm glad I won't have to Coach against him anymore and would suggest you high school coaches get familiar with him.
  10. I'll bet a year salary nobody ever puts GQ on a running clock. For you even to sleep on Maryville this much shows your lack of football IQ.
  11. That was in 1995 after we (Maryville) blasted Smyrna in the regular season, but Smyrna won the rematch in the 2nd round ten again in 1996 regular season which the last year Maryville didn't make the playoffs. So technically we are 11-2 against Rutherford county, if not for the rash of injuries to the 95 squad in the playoffs they would be 12-1.
  12. How can Horst be ranked that low? I'm calling foul on that one.
  13. You sir have no clue about why Maryville and Alcoa are successful. 99.9% of the kids in both programs actually live in their respective school's city limits and have done so since elementary/middle school.
  14. I'll bring the entire Otero family up there for a dual!!
  15. Bump... Tournament is listed under Maryville Wrestlefest on Trackwrestling.
  16. Having coached against some of those Beech kids last year on the middle school level, I agree they're going to be a rising team this year and the next few after that.
  17. The Maryville Youth Wrestling program will be hosting an elementary and middle school team dual at Maryville High School on Friday December 2nd. We will also be hosting our first ever TNAAU open tournament the next day (Saturday the 3rd) for all ages. Those interested in competing can find the links on TrackWrestling and sign up today. This will be the first tournament in Region 1/Smoky Mountain Wrestling Conference and many teams from outside the area are expected to show. If you need more details, feel free to respond here and we can get back to you ASAP.

  19. Practices are Mondays and Thursdays from 3:45 pm to 5:45 pm at Maryville high school. Compensation would be determined according to participation, but there may be a possibility of paying a coached stipend through Maryville City Schools contingent on passing a drug screen, background check, and an "invested commitment" to the program.
  20. We still know what happens in high school.
