I guess it is possible, but I think this West team will have to beat themselves, to me they've proven themselves to be the best in the east. And I'm not a West fan, just a "good high school football" fan.

Alright Vil, I'll take the bait for the sake of getting more people to respond. With your comment are you also saying Greeneville is better than Alcoa and Maryville? I think it would be a good game, but I can't see that Greeneville would beat West.

The kid has a leg! Watched some of the Crockett game. Boone scored and celebrated a little too much. On the the next kick off they were penalized 15 yds, then were offsides on the kick and backed up 5 more. He still kicked it down to around the 5 yd. line. He also punts the ball very well. Hope he has attended some camps. Someone will be getting a good one!

I'll take Mo West, seems like SC went backwards after beating Central earlier in the season.

WH, they actually started this last year. At first I was really upset about it but went ahead and signed up. Glad I did, it gives you access to all the games state wide (if the school has broadcasting of some sort). And you can watch the games at any time. Being from Western NC, having coached in Georgia, I can also watch those and any state's games. Not bad for $12 a month!

Mav, don't know that they will name the score but I think they win comfortably. This may be the best 5-A defense from the east in years. Their speed and physicality will cause problems for a scrambling Potts.

Fandom, not on here to disagree with you but there's a big difference in a region being the worst as opposed to being down from previous years. I've said all season that the region was weaker than in past years. We'll see how Friday works out.

Being a high schooler I wouldn't have minded the 3 1/2 hour bus ride if it got me out of school early. lol It would have been the 3 1/2 hour ride back if we lost that would suck.

Barn, I didn't realize people got up as early as me on Saturday morning. But back to the subject, I don't understand a team that has a chance to make the playoffs not fighting til the end.

Went back and forth watching games. Heritage player's body language from the start (Walking on and off the field, to the huddle, to the line of scrimmage, etc.) suggested they were done with the season. They had played much better games throughout the season. Oh well, another 2-8 team makes the playoffs!

Farragut's offense is the best part of their game, Bearden's defense is the best part of their game. So how does the Bearden O and Farragut D look against each other? Turn overs could be devastating! I could see this happening!
