  1. That would make for a region 4 Class 1A championship showdown then next week between Gordonsville @ Monterey. The winner of that game will avoid South Pittsburg in the 2nd round and would get to host South Pittsburg in the quarterfinals.
  2. Do you know if this game was originally scheduled for Friday then moved to tonight?
  3. In this all important Region 4 game scheduled for Sat. Oct 24, 2020 which school will reign supreme? @MontereySportsNetwork yall covering the stream on your YouTube channel?
  4. That's being way too polite is what that is. 95-3.
  5. Hunter Frame wears #4 for the South Pittsburg Pirates. His updated totals are as follows: 7 games. 77 carries. 1,204 yards. 23 TDs. 15.63 yards per carry. 172 yards per game. Outstanding young man on and off the field. @FridayMainEvent @CoachT
  6. Yeah, I remember you saying they were about even. The Monterey @ Clay County game tonight is gonna be live streamed. Link is on the CoachT scoreboard page.
  7. I was looking for the score last night and couldn't find it. I then clicked over on Saturday's scoreboard schedule and there it is. Idk if the game was moved or not. I'd like to know the answer to this if anyone knows. If there's a stream it may be on the CoachT scoreboard page. EDIT: Yes, there is a YouTube link on the CoachT scoreboard page for a live stream of this game. Monterey Sports Network.
  8. Yall should've played South Pittsburg and Walker Valley. You'd be tough as nails by now. Well, maybe not as tough as nails but you get my point?
  9. That's the biggest thing in any class in my opinion is the offensive line. If its intact with senior leadership with guys that understand their role and are good at doing the dirty work then that's the main building block for a deep playoff run. I think its even more so at our level here in 1A/2A.
  10. My best guess is we get JB in the 1st round then Monterey in the 2nd round both at The Beene then travel to Gordonsville for the quarters then back home for the semifinals against Greenback/Coalfield. Of course region 4 isn't seeded yet. My projections are only merely by who is the favorite. The Monterey @ Clay County game tonight and the Gordonsville @ Monterey game the following week are the two games I'm looking at with the most interest right now.
  11. Is your offensive line intact all except the one departure?
  12. Copper Basin needs to let us know yesterday if they'll be able to make the drive over to play us. Don't leave us hanging Big Grabowski.
  13. In my opinion Sale Creek is the better team. But they really took a beating tonight. Also Whitwell supposedly had a couple out when we played them. If it's any comparison, Whitwell took Sale Creek to 3 OTs before falling 28-30. Even Steven?
  14. @TheAmbassador hey big guy. Tell me how we looked tonight from your viewpoint. I know you usually see things from a different perspective than I. Give me the ol Ambasstradamus breakdown.
  15. Yes. I guess. It would give Greenback the 3 seed and a trip to Unaka then a trip to Coalfield as their 2nd round opponent. Or A 4 seed sends Greenback to Cloudland in the 1st round then a trip to Midway in the 2nd round then at Coalfield/Oliver in the 3rd round. Choose your poison.
  16. If that happens there will be a 3 way tie. Head to Head: *Midway beat Oliver. Oliver beat Greenback. Greenback beat Midway. Midway would get the 2nd seed by having the most wins at 7. Then back to head to head. Oliver beat Greenback. The region would be seeded: 1 Coalfield 2 Midway 3 Oliver 4 Greenback * this scenario is only possible if Midway beats Oliver.
  17. Sale Creek led 8-7 then Pirates reel off 77 unanswered points. Final 84 - 8. It was great to be back home again. Stay safe yall.
  18. Dearest Mother- Once more, your youngest son, who is of sound mind and strong body, picks up his coveted quill to put ink to parchment and bring you up to date on our latest excursions. You and Poppa will be tickled pink to know Captain Victory and his Band of Pirates went unscathed in our recent voyage to the land of the Red Tiger. The battle was a quick and decisive one which saw Captain Victory unleash the fully armed and operational Pirate BattleShip. The offensive onslaught was relentless with volley after volley raining down from the heavens upon the Red Tiger and the Whitwellian witnesses that had gathered for Homecoming. When Captain Victory gave the order to cease fire the land of the Red Tiger laid bare and was quite desolate. There might have been a few thorns and thistles left, but not much more. As soon as the campaign ended, I immediately ran and dove headfirst into the Sasquatch River, then proceeded to swim back to the friendly confines of The Beene. I had no sooner gotten there and started drying out when I caught a glimpse of Captain Victory with his Band of Pirates against the pale moonlit sky rounding the Horn of New Hope, going under the Rhinehart then into the Pirate Port of South Pittsburg. As Captain Victory and his staff of officers disembarked they headed straightway to the Situation Room where plans were drawn up and every detail thoroughly gone over for our next campaign. Up next is Corporal Cox leading his Black and Blue Creek Panthers. Corporal Cox is a direct descendant of Wally, the greatest Underdog who ever lived. He has marched his Creek Panthers from above the Scenic City and they have plans to invade The Beene. Yes, you heard me right, The Beene. Sweet Mother of mine, it has been four fortnights and a day since we last defended The Beene. Yes, it has been what seems like forever ago. But I must say, Corporal Cox is such a brave underdog. Yes, he is so much braver than Chief RunAndHides. There's a lot to be said for a leader that not only sends his men into battle, but one that will lead them into that battle right alongside them. For these campaigns are not for those that fear. And these campaigns are not for those that would run and hide. No, these campaigns are for those which seek honor and glory. One can not find honor and glory hiding out in the Fiery Gizzard. Therefore, we will never run and hide. Therefore, we will stand our ground and defend The Beene against any and all that comes forth. Yes, Captain Victory and his Band of Pirates when called upon will go forth and seek honor and glory even into other territories. But as for the next two fortnights, the Mighty Pirates with Captain Victory at the helm will be defending our own homestead. Yes, The Beene is our home and we shall defend it. We shall defend The Beene with every drop of blood, sweat and tears of every man, woman and child if necessary. So let the word go forth. Yes, let the word go forth that The Mighty Pirates have finally come home. They have docked at The Beene for the next two fortnights. And as cousin John D. sang many years ago, we sing now, 'Hey It's Good To Be Back Home Again'. Love to All- Sgt Southtowner
  19. I believe their voices can be heard all the way from Lake County.
  20. And I have it on good faith you'll be praying to the football gods that Alcoee plays up in 4A.
  21. @mrbigster, I think he must be looking at the basketball and baseball classes.
  22. That's my understanding. Then the regions will be posted on the TSSAA website. Then anyone wishing to petition their region placement will do so at the Nov 12 meeting and that's the day it'll be finalized and approved.
  23. Everything will be posted on the TSSAA website the first of November is my guess. I'd say this coming week will be the time set aside for any schools wanting to play up to make their requests known to the TSSAA.
  24. Trousdale is 2A football for the next 2 year classification.
