  1. I heard Bradley was really physical with a young Blackman team until the refs had no choice but to call the tecs on the post player it will be interesting to see how they do against a more experienced Science Hill team, I expect Memphis Central to beat Bearden and Memphis Overton over Antioch and a final of Riverdale and Overton where anything can happen with two atheletic teams.
  2. Jaycee Coe is clearly Miss Basketball I would like to be the first to say congratulations and I can't wait to see you play at the state tournament.
  3. Wow that was awesome it looks like she didnt get it off in time but it happens and from what I read the calls were bad all game but off subject a little I am lmao at the guy who fell and it looks like some lady's trying to get the team out of there quickly please tell me you have more video of the game you can post CHARGERFANFORLIFE it looked like a championship game and atmosphere. Also I feel awful for the team that lost I could see the heartbreak on some of their faces I don't know how you get over this but I pray you will and good luck to the team going to state I just couldn't say the team that won, aw heck they're all winners in my book, great ballplayers.
  4. @ NotThatItMatters I have to agree Jaycee Coe is a great player but its single A in AAA she will see a defense like no other and will have to work alot harder to get those shots up her and Nina played on on the same team AAU team Nina was a starter Jaycee didn't play much and I'm not saying she's not good but she will have to improve her defense to compete for playing time at Kentucky with the athletes they have and the ones they have coming in its a high octane press defense but I'd love to see her succeed because the talent is there I mean she is from Tennessee.
  5. Columbia Central also has a good chance of making it they are the only team besides Ensworth to challenge Riverdale and Rossview had trouble with Dickson so you never know who will come out of that region its wide open.
  6. I agree wbbwatcher I guess they can't all be nominated but I'm positive all will go on to have a great future in basketball.
  7. I'm not quite sure why Rachel Bell wasn't nominated but she will be fine she has major D-1 schools after her so keep working Rachel.
  8. They actually have one transfer from East Hamilton, Tiffany Lewis that really helps their press she's not a big scorer but plays tough defense the other two transfers don't really play much its the returning starters doing all the work and I believe at state they will be challenged, if theirs one team they probably don't want to run into at state it would be Columbia who they narrowly escaped by 4pts we all no state is a whole different ball game and i believe Memphis Central, Ridgeway and Science Hill could make it interesting but until then Riverdale will be the clear favorite this year and next year.
  9. I was actually done commenting on this topic but after reading alot of the posts I just hope both teams can get past this because these are teenage girls playing a competitive sport so I would love to see Crockett come back from this by getting in the gym and working hard nobody should be criticizing these kids saying they didn't show up they lost to a great team and SC girls should not be be blamed they do what the coach tells them perhaps if they don't play hard they don't play at all so SC go make your run toward a championship and may the best team win.
  10. Well I really hope they weren't trying to run it up because thats not good sportsmanship and what goes around comes around but I do agree they have to keep playing but these type of games certainly aren't preparing them for a run against riverdale, columbia, bradley central, blackman, memhis central or m.overton just to name a few of the teams they may have to beat to get a championship because that is the ultimate goal right, not a 100pt game there's no trophy for that. I wish all the teams goodluck because I'm just a fan who loves watching them play and may the best team win.
  11. I was told Blackman's Crystal Dangerfield is ranked at the top nationally but here are my Miss Basketball pics: Nina Davis, Olivia Jones, Tyisha Petty, Rachel Bell, Elizabeth Masengil, Alexis Lang, Jaycee Coe, Sarah Raby, Makenzie Hensley, Kaylah Keys Derika Wyatt, Kennesha Nichols, Jasmine Cincore, Jada Johnson. I know there are alot more great players in TN but this is my list. GOOD LUCK GIRLS
  12. You have to be more than just a great shooter to actually make the roster and the only person I see doing that is alexa middleton, although there are some great players that will be seniors coming out of TN next year, brooke copeland, rachell bell, emily eubanks, shelby davenport just to name a few it would be nice to see some girls from TN make the roster.
  13. Airstrip1 I couldn't agree more, you hit the nail on the head.
  14. I second that it has been horrible and kids can get injured badly due to horrible officiating, fans just want to see a fair game where the kids decide the winner but sometimes it feels like the refs have their preference, after all they are human to I guess but I sometimes wonder if they have had dislikes of certain schools growing up and it still lingers, well I say its not that serious treat these kids the way you would want your own family to be treated because what goes around come around.
  15. Chelsea nelson @ Brentwood Academy, Marissa Knox @ Mississippi school, Paris Lawson, sophomore.
  16. I am just curious if he has seen these kids play because some of these players are in the wrong grade, wrong school and some are ranked above kids that are highly recruited by d-1 schools and thats what i thought was the criteria for these rankings.
  17. I agree and I would even put ensworth in the 2 or 3 spot they are the only one to play riverdale so close besides columbia, they beat blackman at a playday and would probably beat oakland, I also think creekwood could be higher but thats also debatable. And where does bradley central fit into the equation?
  18. Agree to disagree. Both are great players. Merry Christmas to everyone.
  19. I don't think they played yet but siegel looks alot better this year with some atheletic, sizeable transfers that are sisters.
  20. I agree hoopsdaily I was surprised to see them above those schools you named because I don't think they can beat any of those schools and you can add siegel to that list and maybe even smyrna.
  21. I do believe nina davis is ranked number 1 in the state and if they played one on one the baylor commit would win and middleton will be like nina next year she wont have those top players around her so lets see how she does next year she is not the best player on her team now look at the stats.
  22. Today riverdale beat memphis central by 17 convincingly with memphis having the best player in the state nina davis who was unstoppable i think it will be the same result against S.C and I may be wrong if S.C comes to play because the matchups are there, xfactor is Shy Copney will she be ready for a full game. #WBB MUST SEE
  23. Columbia proved that Riverdale is beatable I was at the game and I believe Science Hill will make their freethrows something that could have won Columbia the game. The game between those two will come down to matchups because the gilbert sister took middleton out the game who can do that from SC remains to be seen. LOVE TN B.BALL ITS THE BEST.
  24. I saw riverdale play and its not the transfers putting up those numbers its the starters from last year and davenport they play well together.
