I have attended several games at HVA and I will answer the questions posed about the facilities. The ticket booths are not an issue at HVA. There are three windows at the permanent booth and the line is run efficiently. Also, in addition, there are HVA staff members selling tickets to line members paying with exact change of $6, no wait. Yes, the visitors bleachers are small. I don't know how many fans travel with Maryville as opposed to South-Doyle, but the Cherokees didn't fill the visitors section last week, so I don't see it being much of an issue. A lot of people watch from the fence area anyways. The parking is the worst part. There is one entrance/exit to the school, and all of the separate lots feed into that one two-lane street. I've waited over an hour exiting the stadium at Hardin Valley before. (However, I wouldn't worry about being in the area late like one user said. HV is one of the most upscale areas in TN so I think you'll be fine)

I have a difficult time deciding if Powell is the real deal or not. I agree that the game against Hardin Valley will be a benchmark for this team. HVA has wins against #2 Ravenwood and #8 Farragut already this season, so Powell has a chance to prove themselves in a big way.

Week 3: South Doyle @ HVA. Who takes this and why?

Ravenwood looked tough at the Bearden tourney. 7-0 against Knox Catholic and 8-2 against Bearden. Hardin Valley beat them 2-1 this morning though.

Hardin Valley wins 49-14 and improves to 2-0.

From what I've heard, HVA didn't lose much and has gained a couple decent OOS transfers. Folks are expecting them to be pretty high in the district standings. I guess we'll see.

With a 6-0 win over Greeneville last night, Hardin Valley completed an undefeated season.

Does anyone have tournament brackets for these two districts? If you could post it, it would be greatly appreciated!

1. Bearden - didnt lose much from last tears state tournament team 2. Farragut - always strong 3. Maryville - has a lot of talent back 4. Hardin Valley - lost a lot, but has kept some strong players and got a couple transfers 5. Heritage - lots of talent i left OR and WB out, OR's coaching is sub-par, and they lost their best two players from last year, probably wont be relevant WB - not sure, havent seen them

Hardin Valley beat Greeneville 6-0 today to finish an undefeated regular season.

Which AAA times have state-championship potential? I think my top four in state are (no particular order): Houston (Germontown) (14-0-1) Hardin Valley (Knoxville) (12-0-4) Franklin (11-1-4) Farragut (Knoxville) (12-2-3)

Hardin Valley definitely had the best facilities. They don't have the best atmosphere, however. Not bad, just not as passionate as others.
