That’s debatable. Ivey got the first takedown and it was a very close match before Trae got a reversal in the 2nd and stuck him. Trae is definitely a stud but so is Brayden. These 2 will meet again. Saying nobody is close is absurd. Brayden is right there.

Baylor will win D2. When at 100% theres not a team in Tennessee that can beat them right now. I’d take them over the majority of the southeast and even slot them in the top 20-25 in the country when at full strength.

Brentwood is solid again this year and a top 5 AAA team. But Ryan has looked great and is a top 5 team overall in the state and I think they win by 20ish

Right. But I think what he’s saying is if it was called illegal and the injured kid won, then it should be recorded that way in the book. So you should be able to see what “illegal move” was called

I agree with everything except for the part about Blackman, but I also see where you’re coming from on that. Baylor is the clear cut #1 now. Arlington continues to prove everyone wrong after being disrespected week after week, year after year..and I believe they are the #2 team in AAA ahead of Wilson Central. I’d slot them in at 5 behind Baylor, Cleveland, CBHS, and McCallie. Beech does need to be removed at the moment. While I think they will be a strong team and a solid top 6-8 team in AAA and should be in this poll soon, right now we don’t really know what we are getting from them with the loss of Horst and Bates. It will be interesting to see how they look after Christmas. And most importantly, Soddy 100% needs to be removed and shouldn’t even sniff the rankings anytime soon. No more legacy votes. The Trojans are not good and people in the chatt area need to start to realize that. Any ranking with Soddy present is irrelevant

Does anyone have a match breakdown of the Baylor/Cleveland match?

If original call was injury time and no illegal move call, then the injured wrestler should not have won. I don’t believe you can make a call for no illegal move and give injury time, and then after the fact, say illegal move. The call on the mat has to stand without any sort of video review. Which we don’t have. So in this case, I’d say very confidently that the injured kid should not have won and the ref made a huge mistake and an ill advised call to award him the match

If injury time is given, the only way the injured kid can get his hand raised is if he cannot continue and the injury comes as a result of something illegal. If it’s just from hard tough wrestling, and no illegal moves, holds, slams, etc...then the other kid would win by injury default. The injured kid can’t win if it’s just a random injury. Obviously I’d need to see what happened to make anything more than an indirect opinion. But those are the rules when it comes to injury defaults. Sure would be sad if the call came from the opposing coach being in the refs war. What tourney are you at? Are the matches streamed at all?
