Smith county and Fayetteville will have something to say about MC getting to the big game. I haven’t seen Smith in person but Fayetteville is a good ball team record just doesn’t show it.

Anybody know if North Jackson is any better this year? If not SP by as much as they want after the game I saw last year between these two.

Wasn’t me saying all that, not sure why you quoted me lol. They have a really good team but takes a lot to make it to state as most people know and a long ways to go still. What I’m most impressed with this year is how much more physical they are on D compared to last year.

This is exactly what I’m talking about, people like you trying to blame one side or the other instead of just getting the game back and playing. Both coaches from each school are gone from all that mess so move on and let the KIDS be able to enjoy it not adults placing blame here or there. Bet if you ask kids from both schools they would say they want to play but like I said too many adults like yourself getting in the way of that.

Yes and it’s a shame that it’s not played anymore because adults and people in charge on both sides can’t get over themselves and realize it’s not about them it’s about the kids. Really wish the kids would get to experience this great rivalry like so many of us did growing up.

I look for it to be a good game this week with MC. I got MC by 14 over SC but I’ve been wrong before lol. Really wish MC and SP would still play one another because this year I feel like would really be a good game with both teams being good and the crowds would be huge, maybe one day the adults from both programs won’t ruin it for the kids playing that great rivalry game.

This will be a tough game but I think MC will score late to win by 14. If the QB for MC plays well and can hit the receivers when they are open like they have been in past weeks then I believe they can really score some points in this one, if not and SC stacks the box all night then it goes either way imo.

Watched some highlights on this game and seems it was a tight game until the pick 6 by the pirates in the 2nd and that seemed to kill SCs momentum. Did SP only score 1 time in the second half? Seems like it was a physical game and that pick 6 and TD run by #8 on 4th down were the game changers for the pirates.

you don't have to be fast when you are that big just quick on your feet to be able to get in front of who you are supposed to block. I didn't mean that he was open field fast just quick on his fee

He just came out this year he plays left tackle. He will be a junior this season.

#s 79,76,and 71 for marion are some good sized kids they should have some success running behind them this year. #79 is pretty quick on his feet to be 340lbs.

Marion's big linemen will be a problem for any team this year. They have some of the biggest offensive lineman in the area.
