  1. It all makes sense, if I were a great receiver and I wanted my talents to be exposed big time I would be headed to the school that has a proven All Star QB hands down.
  2. Some people can read a text or something on a forum 2 diffrent ways and HTV is the master of that. All he has to do is ask other coaches in the district how they felt about Bearden, they'll tell you. If recruiting a player was compared to going out with your pole and fishing without a license Bearden over did it in most peoples opinion.
  3. That's exactly what I said, they mercy ruled everyone in their district last year. By halftime everyone is headed for the gates. The big changer will be Anderson County. A couple of others may go the distance so they won't have to sell their hamburgers at a bargin price to get rid of them this year. If Alcoa gets any Bearden players which no one has confirmed yet the better for them but we do know it won't be the QB or number 2. Still some good ones left to pick from though.
  4. Chris Brown is a great hire. He was 40-8 at Red Bank before joining Baylor the past three years.
  5. I thought I already had but must of not went through. JJ dose a great job bringing in some of the best players around but it don't set well with the other coaches or schools they came from. He won't have to worry about this going to a private school where he will be more of a fit. His biggest negative is bad decision making like the Alcoa game last year. If he ends up as head coach again he needs to surround his self with the best football minds he can find. Bearden isn't the place or really any other public school you can bring in that many players without it stepping on somebody's toes.
  6. The same reason everyone from Alabama left when Saban retired. I'm just waiting for official word from HTV when the black smoke at Cedar Bluff hits the sky on JJ. Will not be surprised if Alcoa don't land a couple of these kids by the fact of moving up to 4A not having such a weak schedule with district games.
  7. It's the only school in Knoxville that he can get away with all the things he does
  8. He'll be following JJ once that school names him to their staff.
  9. I won't say what school that is but most people on here know.
  10. From what I'm hearing most of the high prospect players will follow JJ to his next job which is in the works right now leaving Bearden with the scraps. I was asking where the qb will end up because that is really the only player that would fit Alcoa's needs this coming year.
  11. The same exact thing was said word for word when JJ came there and the shop lifting at Walmart . What ever Bearden had is now gone you big cry baby and you can take that to the bank. I know some of the parents that have told me things the past two years which was unbelievable.
  12. Now those parents can get out the silverware and plates again and throw those plastic forks & spoons along with the paper plates away when having the team over for a celebration.
  13. When I was a senior I came so close to transfering to another school for more playing time and when I decided to stay and came back my coach told me I guess that trade we had worked out for a jock strap apparantly must of fallen through right in front of the team. Everyone fell on the ground laughing. I would take a nicename any old day as that.
  14. Continued praying for RW and Austin.
  15. Why did Taylor give up the job at Karns just before everything gets ready for fall practice forcing them to hand the torch to one of their coordinators.
  16. It seems this younger generation has taken to Lacrosse better than I figured. I passed by 825 here while back and there were a bunch of teams there. I also live near Heritage and see the same out that way. I would rather kids be involved in something like that as to be out here getting into things.
  17. It's a mental disorder that has got so far out of hand that 77 million people hit the voting booths in November to put someone in office to clean up this stupid nonsense.
  18. I miss Shadroach and I know all my Maryville buddies do. it was like watching The Roadrunner, Shadroach was the roadrunner and poor ole Scott was the Coyote.
  19. I did see WBIR used a picture of Alcoa running out on the field to tell the story and one of their fans ask in the comments why did they use Alcoa in the article.
