  1. What are you talking about...the lowest of the low? Your team had more cheap shots and were very classless. And your fans, classless as well. Don't know why as with your "work study" your coach has recruited a bevy of talented players. And your coach is an excellent game caller. Be happy, NCS will probably win the state title with their bought team, yes I said it, bought team. With so many offensive weapons you will be hard to beat.
  2. Are you kidding? Were we at the same game? Finally refs that called you out on all the holdings. And all the cheap shots from your team. I'd say NCS was more despicable. What is funny is that NCS really has a lot of talented players that doesn't need to resort to cheap shots. And your coach by far outcoached the CA coach.
  3. I'm sorry, but this player is not D1 talent. He is too small. He is talented yes with good blockers around him to open up holes, but D1 no. And his stats are inflated because his daddy is the coach. Seen it many times, if your a coaches son you get all the carries, or when the ball gets down the field, you get the call to take it in thus getting the stats. No way a kid like this or most of the other coaches sons ever make it playing college ball. Why...because Daddy isn't there to give them the position and all the reps. Instead they might actually have to work hard and earn something on their own. Not trying to put this player down, as I'm sure he is a great student and he is a huge asset to his team. But D1, keep dreaming.
  4. That was my thought...how are they 1A when most teams are considerably smaller?
  5. Thanks NCSdad1962 for the explanation above. Funny what you said about the bowling kid
  6. That is impressive stats (#34 with 6 carries for 152 yards.) Other schools would kill to have that kind of OL able to block to make that happen. And #34 is just a sophomore? Sounds like he did a great job and is a very talented player.
  7. In all seriousness NCSdad1962, can you explain to me how an athlete at NCS (lets use a player on the football team for example) has time to "work" enough hours at a fair wage to compensate for paying the tuition? How is said player able to go to school and go to practice yet while basically working a full time job, or "work study"? Just trying to figure out how this "work study" works so other private schools can get on board and start hitting up the neighboring public schools and recruit some players to "work study", especially for those private schools with very small roster numbers.
  8. Yep..."work study" just a fancy word for recruiting. Sad that is being allowed. Seriously, what a sham. And regarding the comment about CA, they do not have a bought team at all. Just look at them, barely enough to field a team and most of the ones on the field are small. As a fan whose boys have long since graduated, I wish CA would take the initiative and mimic NCS with their recruiting of athletes, I mean "work study". And before the NCS fans get offended, not jealous at all of your success. Just wish it was success earned honestly. I have no problem with a team winning fairly, but with it being against the rules to recruit in 1A., how this is being allowed to happen is a mystery.
  9. This fall weather is great for football...
  10. Agree with Shep NCS @ East Rob McEwen @ HC CA @ JB
  11. I think it will be great for a team from this side of the state to upset some of the dominating teams from the other side so if NCS is that team, then Go Eagles!
  12. I don't think NCS will have any problems with East Rob this Friday like the ambassador said from the machine that is NCS. .
