  1. Pulling for the Marshall County Tigers! Hardin County is a tall task but that's what it takes to get better right? Get after it!
  2. Good luck BigPurp. Milan always gets right in November
  3. You're spot on about the whipping. No other way to describe it. It was hard to watch. I think East is going to be a tough out for White House and/or Waverly. Like really tough. Not saying it cant happen but they've played several teams tougher than either region 6 frontrunner. I'm pulling for Waverly to go to the semis and play Dyersburg or Covington because I have a lot of good friends there who love Tiger football. I watched East vs Smith film. Huge gap between #1 and #2 in region 5. I'll leave it at that.
  4. You're speaking my language now! Good luck to you guys Friday night and you Saturday morning
  5. A month ago I'd be predicting at least a 21pt victory. After our performances since then I give us very little chance. If Carthage is terrible we might pull it out but I'm not feeling it. The effort last week on television is the worst I've seen from Fairview football since Hughes started coaching.
  6. Yes. That was before several starters went out for the season with injury. Fairview may beat Smith. I'm not very familiar with them. If they're as good as Heritage or Stewart County we're toast though IMO. Fairview looked nothing like a playoff team Friday night to me.
  7. #1 East Nashville (R5) vs #4 WH Heritage (R6) #2 Waverly (R6) vs #3 Jackson Co (R5) #1 White House (R6) vs #4 Stratford (R5) #2 Smith Co (R5) vs #3 Fairview (R6)
  8. I'd say you boys will be a tough out. East Nashville will be a wildcard. At this point I think you can handle White House. I was impressed with the QB. Among others but he has the ability to take over the game. Good luck!
  9. I sure hope not. I better leave it at that.
  10. Congrats on the victory. Savor the flavor. You guys deserve it and were the better team regardless of injuries. You guys have had a tough row to hoe this season and I think this win could give you some great momentum. Best of luck on the postseason.
  11. I heard yesterday from coach that this game is MyTv 30 game of the week. I may watch it on TV so I can cuss out loud and turn it off sometimes.
  12. You literally made multiple false statements in the threads opening topic post. I don't think Howdy is the one spinning things here. 4x... I ain't never...
  13. I hope so. If history is any indicator you can throw everything out the window when these boys square off. It's always decided by single digits and goes to the last second ticks off the clock. Many of these young men have been playing against each other annually since they were 5 or 6 years old!
  14. Good luck. That was a fine team.
  15. Very likely. Right now I feel like we're probably headed to Carthage in round 1 based on what I know and what I think I know. I'm wrong alot though lol. I do think Fairview will be coached up against you guys next week and you'll see things from us no one has saw all year. We rotated QBs as well as several other positions continuously last night. I couldn't keep track of who was in or out or if we we were just subbing or really trying to score lol. I do know ALOT of our guys played last night in all 4 quarters.
  16. Many thanks. Both those recently injured kids are juniors so thankfully they got another go round next year. We should be pretty stout next year sure enough. Never know when those injuries are going to knock you off the block though. I hate it too. Hopefully Waverly can at least get someone to loan out a neutral field if you guys are the higher seed. Yall have been doing it all year I realize but this is playoffs! Good luck with that. I guarantee Fairview would loan out theirs if its within the rules and we're not using it.
  17. I assume Westmoreland still runs the Wing T? I remember back in 2014 (I believe it was) they had one of the best running attacks I've ever seen from a small school. They would have played Alcoa for gold had it not been for having to go through CPA. I also think CPA beat Alcoa that year. I remember Westmoreland ran all over CPA too but it wasn't enough.
  18. It's gotten a little weaker the last couple weeks unfortunately. Fairview was plagued with season ending injuries against Camden and Sycamore. Going to take a great game plan from the coaches as well as luck to keep it close vs Waverly. I'm sure you guys have noticed us struggling with lesser opponents recently. Lost perhaps our best player against Camden to a broken collarbone and our starting DE (my nephew) broke his fibula last night. Where will Waverly play their playoff games if they have home field? Surely not at the lower seed teams home stadium right?
  19. No worries General. I could smell the stank that was sticking to me from sparring with the dirty pig and noticed a couple other posters whom I respect getting agitated. So I won't be doing that anymore. I've actually finally tried this Ignore feature and must say it's working great! As I mentioned previously. I do apologize for derailing the topic. I should have known better and will take that responsibility.
  20. I completely and wholeheartedly agree Trollin.
  21. I wouldn't think Heritage or Stewart County would have anything for White House to worry about but crazy things do happen every year when the weather breaks. I know Stewart County slipped up on us last year and took our 5th straight region championship away after leading 26-7 at the half. Craziness does happen.
  22. I've not been placed anywhere moron. Just trying to show some respect to the folks who actually like to discuss the topic. You know who and how to reach me if you want to and I promise you I'll oblige if you want to do that. I have no interest in going back and forth with an anonymous troll. Carry on.
  23. Thanks General! I'll leave it be. My apologies.
