What have you been smoking? lol.....Powell is rebuilding from the ground up. Ellison will get them there, but it is going to take time. West is a team that can make another run at state with their talent. Harig took over a loaded team & is keeping the winning going. If Powell has had West number I am assuming they haven't played the last 2 years? It is a different Powell now than it was 3 or 4 years ago.

I am just guessing, but someone here has a problem with Gaddis from back in the day, or are upset that your kid isn't getting more playing time. You guys are 2-1 with a loss to what will turn out to be a Great Farragut team. Last year you were 12-1 with a loss to an unbelievable Rhae Co. team. If you want to blame the looses on the head coach, you better give him credit for all those wins as well. Fans are very fickle & always seem to have all the answers. With all of you being so smart why aren't you coaches or even a head coach at any given school? Because you wouldn't be able to do the job!!

Looks like Anderson County, & Sequoyah are the other schools involved. Should be a great day of work for all 4 teams.

I went up for the 7v7 the other night at Powell. Austin East, Catholic & Clinton were there. Clinton QB Thackerson was the best on the field. Catholic looked great & I thought Powell looked really good, QB, Sepesi looked much improved. This offense seems to fit him. According to Coach Ellisons twitter account tomorrow Powell has Campbell Co. Sequoyah & Jefferson Co. No idea about next Tuesday though. I will let you know if he post it. I follow several schools & coaches in the Knoxville area.

When I said athletes I was also referring to the lineman. They are athletes too. Hillsboro could not match up with West. Fulton had a better team than Trezevant...I think Trezevant played great & their coaching staff had them prepared.

Clinton better replace all those lineman they lost in order to have a successful season. Thackerson alone is worth 2 wins, but they better protect him.

Looks like a great spring for the Ads. Who do they have lined up to scrimmage this fall?

The real winner in high school is the team with the best athletes! It doesn't work in college because most teams are able to match up with athletes against other teams. If you notice Maryville threw quite a bit, because their opponent was able to match up with them. With the exception of CPA vs Alcoa & Maryville vs Ravenwood....the other 4 games, the winner just had better athletes across the board.

Gaddis needs to hire an OC that is smart enough to run the T offense, as in get in the spread & throw the ball to Tee!! The games I saw last year, no one could match up with him, & he had huge plays. But still didn't get him the ball enough.

Didn't blow smoke because it was never said. Although I am sure any coach would love to have Thackerson, he is the best QB in the area. Enough of this BS. Jet has lost any credibility to me. Good luck to the Dragons.

I talked with Coach Ellison & he told me that Clinton would be just fine with coach Jessie calling the plays & THACKERSON running the offense. Sounds to me like he meant Thackerson would still be Clintons QB.

This move shocked me, but maybe Coach Cummings felt he needed a new challenge. Good Luck

I don't know him, but Ellison had high praises for him. I actually called Coach Ellison to give him my congrats & he told me that Coach Jessie will be promoted. Ellison said that the Offense will be just fine with Coach Jessie calling the plays & Thackerson running the offense.

I want to officially congratulate Coach Ellison....he has earned this opportunity!
