Everything you just said is true. I really worried about the lines of LC. If LC cannot hold there own on the offensive and defensive lines it will be along night. LC linebackers have got to get downhill. They were no where to be found against UC. They did play better against Central. If LC doesn't block Peabody then speed doesn't matter.

This will be the first LC game I have missed in years. I have some business I have to take care of. I hoping I can find a way to watch it. I really hate I have to miss it but I got to.

Man I hate this thread as come to all this. Peabody has really nice facilities and top notch football program. I respect the heck out of the Peabody program. I hope LC comes to play and that it's a really good clean football game.

MASE out of Memphis is the real deal. They do play a weak schedule however. If they have got all their stuff together with all the transfers and the TSSAA says it's all legal then they will be a big problem for teams in the west. From my understanding they have 17 starters and the coach from MAHS. MAHS gave Martin Westview their toughest game in the quarterfinals last year. I know they scrimmaged Whitehaven who is a traditional 6A power and went toe to toe with them. I know it's just a scrimmage but if they can stay on the field with them I would say they are dangerous.

MASE will have homefield throughout the playoffs. Even number year then even number region host provided it's not two teams from the same region playing.

There is a good chance that LC and Peabody do not play a 2nd time. MASE is sitting in Memphis with a loaded team. MASE very well could be playing McKenzie or Fayetteville in Memphis Semifinal weekend.

Who said he wasn't? I think Coach Canada is going to be very successful at LC. New Coaches, new system, new discipline, different weight program. All those things take time to gel. LC will be very dangerous in late October early November.

No doubt Trenton and McKenzie are very good. IMO McKenzie is the best 1A team in the state. Peabody is a very good team but I have a feeling that LC is going to make this a game. I could be wrong as I have been many times before in my life.

Week 1 was a complete debacle. New coaches and new system and it's going to take a little time. I much rather be playing my best football in late October and November. LC biggest problem going forward will be keeping people healthy.

Lake County is better than most think and will be in the top 2 of the region at the end of the year. Right now I would not have my Falcons listed either but like I said they are better than most think.

This game is hard figure out. Most people will expect and pick Peabody to win this game. LC was horrible against Union City. LC was alot better especially on offense against Obion Central. The Falcons must tackle better and block better. Peabody is alot better than Central probably. Peabody has a dominant offensive and defensive line and a good QB. They are really well coached. If LC keeps improving and can get their skilled players in space then this game will be a war. Everyone wrote LC off after that debacle last week but LC is better than most think.

This early region game is big for both teams. If the region shapes out like I think it will this could decide on who has to travel to play MASE in the first round of the playoffs. MASE is going to be a contender to go to Chattanooga.

Huntingdon by alot. LC scrimmaged Camden and scored 9 times in 1s vs 1s. Camden scores came through the air. They didn't have very much of a run game. Their QB was pretty solid. They threw alot of screens. It was just a scrimmage but I think the stangs will be to much.

I agree. The Stangs are most always in the hunt.

Thanks and good luck to West Carroll. Yes, we all were wondering if LC would respond after last weeks beat down. Was very glad LC had fight left in them. A game like last week could derail a whole season. To much talent in LC to play as bad as last week.

I totally agree with you.

Lake County played much better tonight. Still along way to go but a step in the right direction. Obion Central is much improved but lacks speed. LC will improve as the year goes on and do not be surprised if LC goes to Peabody next week and give the Tide a battle. LC is not as bad as they played against UC. Don't get me wrong UC is a very good team and was better than LC but not 48 points better. Again, not taking anything away from UC. They have the look of a team that could be in Chattanooga in December.

All of what you said is true. Hopefully the Falcons will not quit like they did last Friday. I can take getting beat but quitting is not excusable.

Totally agree with you. LC played very uninspired. UC come to Tiptonville on a mission. I really don't think LC is that bad. One team was ready to play and the other team wasn't.

Bigster, man keep the faith. It was terrible last night but LC can get things turned around and have a successful season. It's never has bad as it seems and never as good as it seems. It's always somewhere in the middle.

No excuses from me. It was a total beat down. LC has not be beaten like that for along time. UC won every facet of the game. UC will be a very dangerous team and will a serious threat to make a very deep run in the playoffs. It will not surprise me to see them playing in Chattanooga. All LC can do now is put this game behind them and learn from it and get better.

What LC fan said that UC cannot beat the Falcons? It's a rivalry game and anything can happen. I know Union City has a talented bunch of players and coaches. Lake County is the underdog this Friday. UC is the bigger school and doesn't get to play that roll. The only thing I said was LC will score more than 7 points Friday night.
