This one was a shocker to me. I really thought Moore was head and shoulders above McKenzie this year. Moore is another program that seems to struggled in big games. White will win Mr Football and most likely has had the best season of all that were nominated so there is still something to take away from the season. I am just keeping it real

Riverside made big statement with thumping Huntingdon. Fairley is about to get exposed next Friday. Riverside to get another shot at Gold likely against ER this time around. I am just keeping it real

Well well well…..So much for that. Like many have said before. If ER plays clean they are the best team in 2A. No hating at all here. Respect! I am just keeping it real

If I was a betting man I would say the Champion will come from the West side. I believe the level of competition will have them more battle tested. I also believe a few of those teams will cause major issues up front for South Pitt. Of course it’s all about matchups. Time will tell. I am just keeping it real

I’ve seen enough of South Pitt to know that when the QB is on you guys are gonna score on anybody. However, the games I have watched or seen some of this year I wasn’t overly that impressed with the passing game. Don’t shoot the messanger. I am just keeping it real. Accuracy looked to be an issue but maybe those were just bad games The QB is much improved running the ball though and that changes everything. Adding a couple of young RBs certainly helps too. Most impressed with the improvements on defense if I am being honest. Very active up front and then the 2 linebackers and Wallace at Safety is impressive. I am just keeping it real.

Can Gordonsville keep this one within reach until the 4th? Gordonsville plays everyone close even in defeat. I don’t see this one being crazy like some are predicting. Even without the Collins kid I think South Pitt takes care of business but a lot closer than many think. I am sure Gordonsville will throw the kitchen sink at them but I got South Pitt by 14. I am just keeping it real 28-14

Uh oh if big boy is out that will make things tilt a lot more in Gordonsvilles favor. Should allow them to sustain drives better and get more stops in run game. This changes things upfront for South Pitt. I am just keeping it real.

ER has most talent in state in 2A. I didn’t think anyone could match Marion’s skill player for player but they did. They are just terribly coached or extremely young in the discipline department. Worse than any of the public Chattanooga teams I have watched the last several years. If they could miraculously play a clean game they can win it but I just don’t see it. They are just extremely undisciplined and mouthy. I am just keeping it real.

Hard to beat a good team twice. Union City is hitting their stride just in time. Tornadoes by 14. I am just keeping it real

Roads in the East in 2A always goes through Hampton. Is York for real? They have not really been here before. It will be a tough to pull out a W against them. Bledsoe gave away game last week because they don’t know how to win come playoff time when it matters. Hampton does.. I am just keeping it real

Gordonsville better run split back veer like Union City this week and keep ball away from South Pitt or it will get away from them. I don’t personally see them going there two years in a row and pulling a W. If South Pitt gets up they will pour it on and make up for the L last season. I am just keeping it real

AJ Wallace is a difference maker for sure but from what I have seen this year it’s the Seniors that returned that is biggest difference. QB looks to have leaned up and moves much better. The Ferrior kid also is a stud on both sides of the ball and one of best Linebackers in 1A. Lastly the other receiver they have opposite of Wallace has been a game changer. Got a good younger RB but not sure if he played on last years team or not. The big boy from Ga isn’t much of a threat on offense imo. I am just keeping it real

He is a stud but there is a difference in a stud Freshman and stud Sophomore that has the experience. Age matters some. This years QB appears to have as good of an arm as last year if not better but last years still more of a power running threat. A stud is a stud though. I am just keeping it real

No kinfolk. I am a realest. Marion isn’t “MY” team. Put the beer down. ER is a very sloppy team and eventually they will play a disciplined football team that can match them up front. I thought that was Marion but I was wrong. However, when that happens get your basketballs ready. You don’t see Championship teams play as sloppy as East Robertson play. It doesn’t exist. I am just keeping it real

South Pitt should have had this one circled since last year. Gordonsville shut down South Pitts passing attack last year. This is a different South Pitt team though. Looks like they figured out how to run the ball again this year. If the Gordonsville team that played Smith County to a 6 point loss shows up this one will be tight. Gordonsville hasn’t seen WRs like South Pitt has though. 2 & 11 are best 1/2 punch in 1A. This one is closer than some think. For a half anyways. I’m just keeping it real

I got Union City in the rematch. I had them pegged early on to get to Chatt before Mase hauled in more kids. Appears UC are finally hitting their stride. Moore County will have a say in it as well. I am just keeping it real

Several times you could see he was about to blitz but Marion just wasn’t prepared for him for whatever reason. About got their QBs head taken off. They should spend offseason learning to chop block. I am just keeping it real

Biggest thing is this game is can ER play a semi clean game and only have 60-75 yards or less in penalties. You can’t beat a good team when you’re so undisciplined that you false start or hold every other play. If they play sloppy like they did tonight at Marion then Smith has the offense to take advantage of them and make them pay. ER lack of discipline will keep them from beating a good team and offense is just too vanilla. Talent only takes you so far. I am just keeping it real

Tonight was sub par for sure. Can’t say i’ve watched all y’all’s games but you have beaten playcalling it like a dead horse kinfolk. Marion is def missing something though. I am just keeping it real

Lol man you got that right! Marion had me fooled. ER is super talented but I def thought Marion would be disciplined enough to take advantage of that and move the ball on them. Marion tries to throw it too much and about got QB killed tonight. Offensive play calling needs to go back to drawing board next season. I am just keeping it real

Everyone in stadium knew when ER had the ball who was getting it and where it was going but it didn’t matter. Marion was unable to capitalize on a lot of mistakes made by ER. I really thought that would be the difference in the game but offensively Marion just looked too vanilla. #4 has to touch it more in big games. The weak schedule and inconsistencies caught up to Marion tonight. Can’t just flip a switch and play ball when you want. ER has undeniable talent to get to Chatt but they can’t beat Smith in the rematch playing like they did tonight. Impressive when they run a clean play but they are as bad as I have seen. I am just keeping it real.

ER is the most undisciplined team I have ever seen and yet they still just imposed their will on that drive. Marion gotta show some grit right here. Better get the ball in #4’s hands. I’m just keeping it real
