No matter the outcome of the game tonight, the Redskins have had a wonderful season and every reason to be proud of what they have accomplished this season. I am sick of hearing people continue to talk about their weak region. No one seems to care about what is best for programs finacially when not every program has the money that Alcoa, CAK, Maryville, and Catholic have. People continue to be bitter because we changed regions but funny how no teams were lined up to play Alcoa when they were looking for games. Instead of tarnishing what they have done, why cant you just say nice job and congrats to a group of boys who have gone out and laid it all on the line and played hard all season. Remember, this is a high school sport with young men involved. With that said, congrats and nice job Redskins!

How good of a team is Signal Mountain? Any thoughts?? Looking at their schedule, they lost to the two best teams they played?

Where will Giles and Marshall County be sent for the playoffs? Even with 4 wins I think Giles gets in. Will the Tssaa send Giles or Marshall east?

Why can it not just be congrats to the Redskins for a great year. I did not see people lining up to play Alcoa when Loudon had to play them 8 years in a row. They were complaining about not finding games even then. Some schools do not have under armour contracts and turf and finances do come into play during the season. It is amazing with open enrollment, how talent just seems to roll in from other counties. It would be easier for every school to win if they got the best athletes from other counties. More people at the TSSAA voted for Loudon to move to make the quads even and help with expenses, not just Jody Wright. Some of the best coaches are the ones that can win with the talent they are dealt from their towns, not the ones that have several athletes that "commute" to their schools to play. Great job to the Loudon coaches and players on a great season!! Everything is not about Alcoa

What is the point in putting teams in classifications when teams can chose to play up to avoid playing certain teams? I think you should have to stay in your classification no matter what. That keeps the number of teams more even. I know sometimes that might benefit or hurt teams due to tougher or easier regions but just think that is the fairest way to do it instead of letting schools move

Because there arent enough good teams in the quad 2 area so they are taking teams from middle tennesssee to fill those spots like giles co.

Loudon 3 tds Bearden 0tds 30 plays 1 vs. 1 The newspaper reported Loudon rushed for over 200 yards in 30 plays. Jackson rushed 11 times for 158 yards.

With spring winding down what does everyone thing will happen at the bottom half of the district? Hardin Valley- not heard much Bearden- had a good scrimmage vs. AE and Loudon-new coach LC- new coach WB and Heritage- return a lot Farragut-lost a lot from last year Maryville and West will play for gold balls.

How about loudon?had a rough season last year but only lost one main contributor from last season.so look for the redskins to make a run this season

Scott has had some success but look at the athletes he has had. The Loudon coach has done more with less athletes and has played in the region with Alcoa and CAK for at least eight years

Any news on the Bearden job?
