I believe Christian Brothers still has a big chance to sneak in and win it. They did beat Baylor for 3rd 38-26, with Nicholson having to forfeit halfway through the match that he was winning. I do understand how tough it is losing Nicholson, but dont count out the Bros this weekend.
Surely they must reseed some of these weight classes? I wonder if these are the seeds based off of the point system and may be changed later before tomorrow?
I apologize for saying "ranked" I meant seeded at the NCAA tournament. That's why all I've said is how they have done at the NCAA tournament, so you are dissecting every word in my post. I said "ranked" instead "seeded" so it looks like you work with me at the FBI. Too bad I've never seen you at work.
I think you are missing my other points. You stated that you thought Elijah was ranked higher than Leen and Simpson as a true freshman. (Which is wrong) Simpson was one match from placing as a freshman. Leen was two. And Elijah was three. But Elijah was seeded higher than Leen.
Jordan Leen- 2005 his true freshman year. Unseeded and finished 2-2 at the NCAA's. Then went on to become a three time all American and national champion.
Phillip Simpson- 2002 his true freshman year. Seeded 10th. (Which is higher than 16th I do believe) finished 3-2 at the NCAA's. Then went on to become a three time all American and national runner up.
Elijah was the 16 seed and went 1-2 at the NCAA's. He is also ranked 20th on flow.
Just thought I would clear that up for you.
texas23,
Im glad you provided statistical facts to back up your point like the person you are trying to bash. Im sure your opinion means more than the facts. I am sure you non biased mind didn't influence this post at all.
