  1. For those of you wanting to see the game the video rebroadcast will be on wbnt-com/OVC Saturday at 2PM, one scheduled showing due to the county fair's local coverage shows. http://www.wbnt.com/ocv/ocv-live/ I know harley had trouble with the stream working last week, sometimes Chrome & FF doesn't work with some black screen+display error, try using the Edge browser, I usually watch it on or living room Xbox using Edge or on my desktop. I'm interested to see the game myself, was following the tweets on Twitter(OHSradio). Congrats Oneida! Good luck GP the rest of the way as well.
  2. Clinton @ Scott video replay tomorrow at 2pm & 9pm EST.
  3. Oneida @ Claiborne video replay tomorrow at 11am & 6pm EST. I didn't go so I'll definitely be watching!
  4. Game video rebroadcast should be on wbnt-com Saturday. Haven't seen the TV ad for the exact times yet and should be available on their channel's video demand sometime too. http://www.wbnt.com/ocv/ocv-live/
  5. Oneida FTW! Go Indians! Game video rebroadcast should be Saturday on WBNT-com/Oneida Video Cable not sure of the times yet. http://www.wbnt.com/ocv/ocv-live/
  6. Thanks, IDK about this channel. It says on their Facebook Kingston at Harriman. Carter at Anderson 8-18. Here is the full schedule:
  7. I'll take Clinton. Scott Alum here. Just going by what I know that Scott returns this year and what I saw from boths' scrimmage highlights. I think Clinton has an overall better team, good D, bigger size on the OL/DL, and more speed at skill positions. "May be" a another losing record for Scott . IMHO it's going to take a couple years for the new head coach to get them back to the level they have been the past 6-8 years playoff teams not counting last years' 1 win season. Scott has some decent returning starters as Seniors but mostly at skill positions, little under sized on the OL/DL. Clinton should be able to move the ball and stop Scott. I agree with 92's prediction of 3 TD score win. Clinton [34] - Scott [13]
  8. My brother and I were thinking about going but can't make it! ;( Let us know what you think afterward please! :)
  9. What time? I thought West looked really good throwing in his scrimmage highlights that I saw, very accurate in his throws and it looks as though he's gotten bigger being that he was only a Sophomore in 2017. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot more play action with quick passes to the outside and across the middle + RB/FB slipping out of the backfield. Otherwise everyone knows Lambert is going to run the ball right at them.
  10. Yeah I just usually type "Oneida TN Football" and Max will show at the top of the search usually. It's mostly Kingston, one of the others and some Livingston with highlights of Oneida's QB & one of the RB
  11. Saw a few plays offensive from Oneida's 6 way online(Max P), not sure who all they played, I thought one team looked like Kingston but maybe not. They were throwing well and running the ball in the vids. Didn't see any defense. If anyone knows who they played lmk I'd like to try to find highlights from the other teams of it.
  12. I agree, imho it's predictable unless your just having success running well 80% of the time you can get in trouble, plus your running the clock too. As I said an 1-9 Scott team held them to 10 points, I believe the lowest amount a team scored on them. If a team can stop it the passing game probably isn't going to be there. And like you said the QB looks good throwing/is mobile and they have speed, size up front at the O-line/TE/FB position. I'm just more of a balanced offense fan myself and I think with the players I saw overall they could spread the field and be more successful scoring with a different formation even if they run the Wing-T half the time especially since the D looks good.
  13. What is the name of the YT channel or title of the video?
  14. I do not think it is speed > Wing T, I think the Wing T + Speed + Blocking vs the team your playing. It's just easy to defend without a lot of pass option, above average speed in a bottled up formation. You wear your runners down trying to pick up a few yards then maybe a chunk here and there. My brother's team ran the Wing T his 8th grade year and they didn't score a lot(21-28 points average) even though they had a better athletes and bigger o-line/players than most the teams they played, against youngsters that didn't see the Wing T from anyone else. When they lost it was to two teams that ran a 4-4-3 and 4-3-4 with matching size/talent that just came after the ball carriers. Scott held them to 10 points in 2017 with not a great deal of speed, average size and etc from an inexperienced team of mostly Juniors that went 1-9 in the regular season. The one TD Clinton got I believe was because Scott went for it inside their own 35 during the 4th.
  15. Interesting if true. Maybe we'll get to see some in fall practice scrims. The offense has been very predictable as someone said Coalfield was calling the play during 2017's game. They need something to spark the O in Oneida!
  16. I was watching it but flipping back and forth on the net between 2-3 other games that night and missed a lot of the game. I'm going to go back and watch it on Diamond Clear. 2018's game will be on Rivalry Thursday's site/TV(September 20th). I'll definitely be watching it!
  17. I saw a several minutes of the scrimmage on the net but the site's videos for NV have been taken down since. It's a hard to to tell if it was all starters in each play. Oneida had 1 long passing TD. They stopped the run decently looking to have a sizable DL. The returning QB, FB and RBs and OL look good imo. The only thing I noticed is they about gave up a 30 yard TD but the Indian's DB saved it with a obvious pass interference. NV ran on the some in the vids then other times got held at the line of scrimmage. NV had success in short passes, but their QB looks to be a good runner/decent passer which can open things up. I still think OHS will have to open the offense up, it has to happen imho. The pass TD they had looked to be a play action but with a broken NV assignment. I just hope they do not go one dimensionall running it 80-90% of the time unless they are able to to purely get it done that way. The schedule looks favorable. Rockwood & Coalfield lost a some really good Seniors but always come to play. The question would be opponent wise what does York, Bledsoe and Meigs have this year.(?) I think they will have a winning season the BIG question is again is can they pass and defend the pass against teams they may meet in the 2nd possibly 3rd round of the playoffs.
  18. I'm interested to hear about both teams too. I'm an Oneida fan and a Scott alumni which they play Northview in their district now. My 1st cousin's son plays and she said it was either a tie or close to a tie. I saw a few plays posted on MaxP but it may be some 1st and 2nd team mixed, not really much to go by. Crow, Spike or someone from Northview get in here and give us some info! lol
  19. Page Not Found. Try this link: http://www.titansonline.com/fans/high-school-coach-of-the-week.html Mt. Juliet at McGavock 48.57% (816 votes) Greenback at Coalfield 43.63% (733 votes) ^ATM. Just voted. Will a fun game to watch! UPDATE: -Gained 69 votes VS 13 since my last post. Let's see if we can make a comeback win this!
  20. I understand what your saying about the 90s comment but I know what Spike means. I had a family friend's son who played I think it was the 94 team, the team that beat Harriman aka Jermaine Copeland the regular season but lost 20-0 or so to them at OHS in the playoffs(froze my footballs off! lol) I said more of a 70s-80s Jack Diggs, T formation and 4-4 Defense that when TL was at Huntsville Middle in the 90s it seemed become his mentality/scheme. As Diggs said once when ask what's the best score one of your teams had, he said 28-0. "Score every quarter and hold your opponent to scoreless. TL seems to be happy with a 3-0 win, which a win is a win but you can't do that if you give up points and in this era it seems to be offense first for many coaches. But it not like RW runs the spread so if they are successful against you and gets points with a basic game plan your scoring is a must but if run into the brick wall 90% of the time this is what happens.
  21. I guessed 27-20 RW, maybe an OT game. It seemed to be headed that way the 1st half. As I said they needed to open up the offense and they didn't. OHS got the 4th down I believe(?) pass interference call to get them into the red zone and a score. The 90s Run Game + Defense scheme doesn't cut it unless your getting yards in chunks, can sneak in a few quick hitter passes/screens in as I said before as well. In a slug fest like this as we all knew it would be and it was until after the half when RW scored on the opening drive and OHS' bad snap on the punt and RW recovery inside the 2 took the air out of the ball. You can't afford to give up big plays or mistakes, secondary, special teams or anything. Tough loss, but 2 weeks to prepare, maybe change things up. Congrats RW. 22. Live audio tonight starting at 7:15pm est via http://www.wbnt.com/ or updates via @OHSradio Twitter Oneida Cable Video broadcast is Saturday at 11am - 6pm: http://www.wbnt.com/ocv/ocv-live/ Game should be on Rockwood Alumni Association via YouTube. Not sure when. rhsfootballalumni.com/
  23. Just a reminder if it hasn't already been noted the game will be shown live on Diamond Clear Media. http://diamondclearmedia.com/
  24. That will hurt(no pun intended). I think someone said a key lineman was in concussion protocol from the York game, I hope he's okay! Anyway they can't get stuck in predictable 3rd and long situations. imho they need to throw some quick out passes to get the pressure away from the middle of the field. Not that I don't like him as a coach but TL needs to open up the playbook and throw a few deep passes on 1st & 2nd down short yardage situations. My brother played for him years ago at Huntsville Middle when Diggs was there in the 90s and their scheme seems very similar, defense and run orientated, which now Diggs ran a 4-4 D and the 3 back(T???) formation but I'd like to see their pass-run ratio more even at OHS.
