  1. Not underestimating. Just want to know if you play smash mouth football. Have you read those UC, Huntingdon, and WC guys talk about smashing mouths?
  2. Hey SOD, Do you guys play smash mouth football? If not, you don't stand a chance against UC. They play smash mouth football. And they are West of the river. Oh yeah, you are too. But in case you haven't heard, those smash mouth teams will smash you in the mouth. They would beat BA, MBA, and even the Titans. I suggest your boys wear two mouth guards in a couple of weeks.
  3. Been a Lions fan since Greg Landry ran the offense. But my Lions could never compete against the likes of UC, Dresden, Peabody, Huntingdon. They would get smashed in the mouth and go home crying.
  4. Wish I could be there for this one. I hear these two teams could beat the Titans. All those smash mouth teams west of the river can beat the Titans.
  5. Ken, Ken, Ken, Haven't you heard? There are 4-5 teams in the West that could beat the Titans, let alone some 1-3 second-rate D2 school. Just ask 'em - they'll tell you. And, oh yeah, they only play with what they got in their school district. The Titans actually pay their players and those teams out West could still beat 'em.
  6. We'd all appreciate it if you never responded to anyone on here again.
  7. I hear Adam Sandler is looking for a team to coach.
  8. Ok......I've read all this blustery talk all week. Now it's time get real. Neither team has seen anything like they are going to see tonight - obviously. Defense wins championships. Both offenses are prolific and capable. A few difference makers for tonight.... 1. Turnovers (duh). 2. Field position (duh). 3. Conditioning (duh). If any of think you know how those are going to go tonight, you are kidding yourselves. They are unknowns when talking about 15-18 year old kids. Not going to take the time to delve into each one but here's a few thoughts. 1. A kid that hasn't fumbled all year could cough it up 3 times tonight. 2. (field position) Has either team really had to care about that up to now? 3. Who has been on antibiotics all week and isn't really as strong as they normally are? 4. Adversity - will both teams handle it equally well? Doubt it. This one's a crap shoot. May the best team win.
  9. I saw the NCS/CA game Friday night. What you say is true. None of the other NCS guys could start for any other 1A team in the state. In fact, they may just go with 3 or 4 guys on defense. And probably just a center, QB, and 1 RB on offense. Well, maybe throw in a WR on third and long. These "UC is a team" comments are cracking me up.
  10. Wondered how long it would be before the true ucdiditagain fan hubris would come out. Somebody better put a muzzle on this guy - he's creating some great bulletin board material. When you say "we LET you back in the game", that's how it works. Your defense was unable to stop the NCS offense in the second half last year. And by all this "smash mouth" talk, I'm assuming you mean dirty play (groin hits, hits to the head, etc.). Because that's what that always amounts to when posters say that. And before you get all bent out of shape, I have nothing to do with NCS.
  11. Here's what one computer says...........gonna be another laugher for UC. And what the computer doesn't know is that any team that plays on purple grass gets to add another 14 points to their score. PROJECT A MATCHUP neutral field [2014] Union City (TN) 56, [2014] Lake County (Tiptonville, TN) 17
  12. The all-knowing c-a-l-p-r-e-p-s computer says......................... PROJECT A MATCHUP neutral field [2014] Nashville Christian (Nashville, TN) 38, [2014] Columbia Academy (Columbia, TN) 21 It's not a neutral field, so how many more points do we give CA? After what NCS did to the WC offense, I don't see any way CA scores 21.
  13. The almighty c-a-l-p-r-e-p-s computer..................... PROJECT A MATCHUP neutral field [2014] Trousdale County (Hartsville, TN) 28, [2014] Middle Tennessee Christian (Murfreesboro, TN) 27
  14. The almighty c-a-l-p-r-e-p-s computer...... PROJECT A MATCHUP neutral field [2014] Coalfield (TN) 22, [2014] Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN) 21
  15. Sounds like this one was a barn burner - did both teams leave their offenses in the dressing room?
  16. I've been searching the web for official injury reports on tonight's games. Can't find anything - lol.
  17. Please don't tell me that #9 being out means that we will have to endure more discussion of playing time for #5 and #12.
  18. You know that you (and the other CA posters) are just as guilty in the disagreements on here don't you? I can guarantee that by posting this crap above that you are trying to egg on the responses. And why should they hold back after you guys post crap like that. Think about it.
  19. just here to stir things up (and everyone hates this website's tool) ........ PROJECT A MATCHUP neutral field [2014] Forrest (Chapel Hill, TN) 31, [2014] Riverside (Decaturville, TN) 21
  20. just here to stir things up (and everyone hates this website's tool) PROJECT A MATCHUP neutral field [2014] Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN) 35, [2014] Gordonsville (TN) 17
  21. I know everyone hates this website's matchup projecter but just to stir things up....... PROJECT A MATCHUP neutral field [2014] Huntland (TN) 35, [2014] Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN) 34 And this game is not being played a neutral field as this computer model uses.
  22. I'm not associated with NCS - sorry for the confusion. Am following them closely though. I think if you'll take the time to read their interactions with other schools you'll not find the animosity that exists with CA. Wonder if those videos posted last week have anything to do with that. Those were pretty damning. Sounds like they continued into the last game. I'll probably be at the CA vs CA game. Your guys will be in for a surprise if they go after the Columbia kicker.
