Alrite everybody, where will you be at tommorrow? I got people at Oakland, Siegel, and Blackman tommorrow. Anybody going to be able to see Riverdale, Smyrna, LaVergne, or Stewarts Creek?

You want to rag on the TSSAA for something else, fine (God knows there are plenty of reasons to). However, this is one rule that makes some sense. Full Pads in everything not just helmet and shoulder pads, so no they cant scrimmage any earlier.

Oakland has 4 scrimmage dates prior to the jamboree, im sure you will get another chance

Rankin and Quarles? Yes. Aydellot? Not so much. Very good coach in his own right but will never be at the level or Quarles or Rankin

Certainly makes things a great deal tougher for Warriors if he does not play. Anybody seen their respective teams practice these first 4 days?

Given the lack of production UT has had in running the football lately, he is going to get every chance to start at tailback right away. You dont sign a kid with his size and move him away from his primary position

I recommend that you get acquainted with it. It is a tremendous football resource. But given the balance of the district this year, I could see 5 teams going to the playoffs. Even LaVergne should fair decently outside of the district.

I got that roster from Riverdale page on Hudl, My apologies if it is not correct. Ill be the first person to eat crow if Riverdale finishes higher than 4th, but I just dont see it. Finishing 6th isnt crazy, but it is unlikely, provided Odom is healthy. Murphy Fair's poll is just off reputation. If memory serves me correctly, Oakland was 4th in that poll last year. Our district, IMO, gets too much respect and is just assumed that as a whole we will reload every year. Its hard to replicate years like 2010.

Thank for finding that, I will correct it immediately. I honestly dont have any new information on Rodell or Smyrna, but I plan to see them at least once prior to the Jamboree, so I will def, find out

I know Blackman is scrimmaging Franklin on Aug. 2nd and McCallie the following friday on the 9th. Both are tenatively set for 6PM. Hope that helps

Dont have a dog in the hunt, just interested to see if he's leaning towards one place or the other since White Station should challenge for the 6A title this year

I for one, appreciate articles that extend to the entire state. Obviously my knowledge is with most of middle tennessee, so I enjoy seeing as much information as I can on teams in east and west tennessee

How about you do a segment for an entire state? Its not easy. If you disagree, then throw some kids names out there that you think deserve some praise. Nothing is gained by resorting to petty name calling

Much younger than most that have post here, but the best team I ever saw was the 1994 Riverdale team (as much as it pains me to say it being a Patriot). 1998 Lincoln Co. was probably the best team Ive seen not to win a state championship. Lost 3 extremely close games that year to Oakland and Riverdale
