Middleton is still very good but they are nowhere near as formidable as they were with Faulkner. I think GC would be fine against them even if they met in substate. It will be interesting to see how GC handles West Carroll's 6'4 post. Looking forward to that region championship game!
Thanks for the update, bballfan. I have really seen some games get out of control with no fouls being called on either side. That game was too big and the teams too good to let that happen. Glad they called an even close game.
I am looking forward to the clash of the titans when GC takes on West Carroll! I was disappointed to see that only the boys played them in the regular season. That will be a great game!
I am with you Cope. I would love to hear from someone who was at the game. Interested to hear how it was called and if either team got into foul trouble.
Gibson County v Westview tonight! Who you got and why? I would have taken Westview had they not lost a heartbreaker to Dyersburg in OT last night. GC by 5
1 for 3 but all really good games! Would love to know how the refs called the Middleton v Riverside game. Anyone that was there please post.Trader, I couldnt agree with you more on Riverside's style of play!
She may well move on to the next level with 3 state championships under her belt. Dont see anyone close to Elizabethton this year and Kayla is a major reason for that!
I believe that you may be hallucinating! Humboldt will make a good showing in the post season, but I dont think they will be adding a gold ball to their trophy case!
Thinking with Faulkner going down at Middleton, Houston County may be the favorite to win the gold ball. Experienced, fundamentally sound, and have size.
Lexington. Better ball players. More scoring options. South Side will be more physical and if the refs let them play they could easily win as well. Will be a fun one!
