Yeah I thought Kenwoods RB (mayberry) was pretty legit so that's very surprising

Not that anyone in the district is a threat to HC but i hear they loose alot on that very talented Defense they had. if any how much of a step back do they take? obviously it wont show until they play they non district schedule.

NE loses a lot of talent that's very hard to replace.

Alright workouts have started and I know it's still a little early but post your early top 10 in 5A.

imo they must be going for an outside hire because this seems to be taking very long to name a coach.

Everyone who was close to the situation knows it was no paperwork error, but that's what he'll tell all the gallentin community! But with that being said he's a very good coach and it's a good hire you guys got yourself a football a coach who wants to win and that's one thing I can say about chad. Everyone recruits everyone just doesn't get caught so IMO let it go dude moved on took over a program with better support and facilities, he did what any coach would do and that's put yourself in a better position to be successful. Good luck to you all on rebuilding a rich tradition program.

Doubt Clark gets the job, NE is very aware of the situation that happened at Houston county and I doubt that program could afford anymore public backlash.

It's a shame that most of you are definitely wrong and blaming someone who had nothing to do with the reporting! Gary Sheppard definitely didn't turn in NE and those are facts 100000% as you can get! Do I know who did? yes! Will I say ?no! But I'll tell you this NE has been recruiting players seen chad started there last year and it bit him in the ####! Now I feel sorry for the kids because they don't deserve this but when your a coach and you preach accountability then hold yourself to the same standards! Oh yeah and it was self reported after it was reported just so you know! It's a fact they will lose those forfeit those 5wins That's all I'm gonna say on this matter!

You should never involve yourself with how a coach runs his program! If you felt you didn't want your son to play both ways then go play another sport! Parents kill me getting involved with how coaches coach! Coaching is year around 365 and there's nothing worse than having a parent living dreams through their kid trying to tell you how to run your program when their not the one's out there putting the time in before and after school and missing time from their families!

Let's get to some real questions! Start with NE how do they look in year 2 with loss of OC and DC and the two prone playmakers loss to graduation? How does Kenwood fair in year two under under new head coach and full off season under his belt? Does west creek continue to get better or do they go back to same old west creek? Does CHS make it back to the playoff's? I heard last year there we're some unhappy boosters in wildcat land who was asking for the coaches head! Does coach at northwest keep his job if they have another 1-9 season it seems there's no control and lack of respect between coaches and players and is going on another staff turnover!

We all know what time of the year it is! almost time for the playoffs but then again it's when head coaches start to get fired or leave for new jobs. last year there were a load of openings in state so what jobs do you think have a chance of coming open?

This whole thing is terrible and I feel sorry for the kids who just wanna play football, He might be a good coach and honestly he'll get another job somewhere because of his resume but there's a thing called keeping things in house and thats were as an coach he has to understand or no one will want to touch him.

For the person that said I dont watch much HC. hmm more like breaking down film on them if you get my drift! And I stand firmly by my statement the QB can't throw, but they are head above shoulders of everyone else in the region.
